Bay of Plenty. Nestled under Geographe Bay’s iconic peppermint trees in front of the Broadwater Resort, and only a stone’s throw from the calm and clear Indian Ocean waters, lies this casual but stylish family restaurant. Catering to locals and holidaymakers alike, Stilts is open seven days a week, including public holidays. It offers breakfast until 11:00am every day and covers off most of your standard brekky fare. Visitors can drop in for a drink later in the day, or grab a seat at the bar before being shown to their table. Local produce is featured heavily on the Stilts lunch and dinner menu, with diners able to sample local delicacies including Margaret River venison, red spot emperor and Timberhill pork. We recommend you start with a simple but refreshing zucchini and haloumi fritters with sweet capsicum and chilli relish, before turning your attention to one of the aforementioned local products or the more traditional fish and chips, or red prawn curry. Best dish: Tex Mex chicken.
