Food and service were good, the Tavern does not lend itself to a meeting atmosphere after the meal. It only has a poker room sports bar that's more interested in gaming and the restaurant. Nowhere nice to sit afterwards.

My husband and I dined here today ,we both had a very nice meal .The staff were very welcoming and very friendly they gave great service ,we would be very likely to come back again in the future and recommend to others

we arrived at the stockade and my booking wasn't there until she refreshed the computer... sat down and there was no cutlery or side plates, no menus where offered to us. I ordered to 2 drinks and my mother was completely ignored and she walked away.

I was a bit disappointed in that you sat on hard wooden chairs without any cushioning on the seat. I was very satisfied with the meal I had which was the Chicken Parmigana. The room where we ate our meal was very drab in that they had floor-to-ceiling black drapes although the staff had tried to brighten it up it with pots of flowers on the tables. Not sure I would go again.

They had a two for one deal so our T bone steaks ended up costing $22.90 for 2! That was real value. The only downside was the sauces with the steaks. We suspect they were commercially made and there wasn't much mushroomy about the mushroom sauce and the Dianne was just OK. The steaks were great. Perfectly cooked and a great char on them. Would go back again.
