Ingredients used are very fresh. Worth to try.
Food was ok, a little pricey for the quality. Waiter had a bit of an attitude but otherwise was mostly professional in their service. Drinks were good. Really enjoyed the sake menu and their cocktails. The atmosphere was far too loud to allow for a fine Japanese dining experience.
Excellent sashimi, high energy vibe due to restaurant location as an extension to Hemesphere lounge, nice service. Do not come if you’re looking for low-key dining experience
Always a great place to have a special dinner !
Excellent food & services
I have been to Sushi E many times and I have always thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere
Food was so so fresh and amazing
Took a while to get someone's attention to order and was not given drinks menu, also only offered to take our coats afterwards - already unimpressed. Luckily one of the service staff apologised when she took our drink order and advised that it's not their usual standard and gave us a complimentary drink which we appreciated. But then the kitchen forgot one of our dishes until it was the last item left that hadn't arrived and we followed up! Overall, wasn't a great experience. The food was generally tasty, the king crab soba was delicious, but not sure I would go back.
Service was great.
Second time been there it is not as good as first time and kind of a bit pricey in terms of quantity and quality of food. Service is quite good although it can not be compared with what you will get in Japan. The anther annoying thing is they do not have rice seasoning mix which is the essential for a Japanese restaurant.
Lovely dinner, food was great and same with presentation. However, the service wasn’t very precise and it would have been great to have a better presentation of the food. But overall it was a nice atmosphere and great flavours.
Only my second time here, but had to come back for the ponzu oysters and finally got to try the shiso granita! Both were SO amazing!! Really enjoyed all the dishes especially the dynamite spicy raw tuna sushi & the tempura balmain big lettuce cups. Would highly recommend to anyone! ;)
One of the best Japanese in Sydney with excellent service, will be one my regular place to visit for sure!
Small space, good service.
Stunning food and great service.
Food was slow. We ordered the set menu, waited 1 hour and only 2 dishes were out.
We had the luck to be served by a lovely lady of Japanese nationality, so the experience felt even more authentic. We hit it off great with her and I think even if the food wasn’t as spectacular, she would’ve made the experience fantastic regardless. The food was lovely, small portions but around six dishes plus desert for two people was perfect. Best views of the sushi chefs are from sitting behind them at the counter. Was amazing to watch and a total treat to see the artistry behind what we were eating.
Amazing service and food
One of the best Sushi bars in Sydney! Highly recommend to anyone who loves Sushi.
