We had to wait quite a long time for service. The food was ok but the table water was awful, the bottom of the bottle was greenish with algea! Very bad experience. We are definitely not coming back.
The food was mediocre and bland which is as far from authentic Japanese food as you can get... The service was slow and one of our orders were forgotten, even after asking wait staff about the order several times. We ended up getting it as take away because everyone else was done eating ages before the meal came out. Service was slow in general (ordering, seating, paying the bill) even though the restaurant wasn't even close to full capacity. The worst part is the pricing... $17 for a plate of 6 small slithers of salmon... The fish did not taste fresh either and nothing really made this place worth the price. Our table wasn't fully set out properly with cutlery and dishes either. Quite frankly this place serves the same food as a cheap sushi train for double the price.
Great fresh food
Reserved a table for 5 in advance but ended up being seated in a longer table. Gave our reserved table to someone else. Lucky on the staff that we weren't too fussed but poor management on their behalf.
Food quality was good bordering on average for the price. Service was pretty good but the beer could’ve been colder for a draught. I think a 6.5/10 is a fair call.
The tuna smelled like raw beef, otherwise it was tasteless. We sent it back and some tuna with better color arrived, still tasteless. Very expensive for the quality of the food you get.
We always love coming here; the food is consistently fresh and the service is always attentive and welcoming.
Service was not as attentive as previous times we have visited (we mentioned on a few occasions that we wanted to order a few more items and the waiter/waitress acknowledged us while clearing plates but did not actually take our order down/ask us what we'd like to order). Was also a shame they did not have lotus chips available (one of our favourite menu items we regularly order).
Top food, drinks and good service!
Good buzz good food
The food was excellent, fresh and lots of choices to choose from. The staffs are friendly and very good service.
Excellent service. Delicious food. Will come again.
Foods are just so-so, based on this price, there are many choices.
Great sushi. Will be back !
Service inconsistent and it was a struggle to order, pointed to the picture on menu and got something completely different and when queried they said that is what we ordered. Food was ok, overall wouldn't go back as expensive for what it was.
As always, great affordable food.
Tasty food thank you
Highlights are the sushi is amazing. The don dishes were very good. I personally will not order the udon again. The udon was pretty ordinary. The kitchen is open plan and the exhaust system is not too good, after the meal, you end up with the 'oily restaurant smell' . Hence my 7 point for the atmosphere.
Great food. Service was ok. A little pricey
Visited on Sunday, was not busy. Staff attentive and dedicated, assisting customers unsure of menu, etc. courteous and quite fast service. Food quality good.
