Excellent
Food excellent as usual. Extremely long wait time on the cocktails. Ordered a mojito which took 40 minutes. Another friend was on his second drink before mine came out. Several items forgotten and had to be requested. Including the rice which came out at the very end. Need the rice at the start! Also forgot the edamame beans which we had to ask about on multiple occasions. Food good but service needs to pick up.
Asked for cold sake, it came out warm but on ice, never got cold. They forgot one of our meals and we were waiting for a long time.
Enjoyable meal with excellent and different sushi to the standard.
As usual the food was good and the place was not busy that you couldn't hear yourself hand a conversation. Great place for a quick bite to eat if you need to get out off the office for a bit.
Service was slow but it was busy. Sushi great!
We are very big fans of Sushi Planet and will continue to go there for great quality sushi and other Japanese meals. Unfortunately we live in Sydney now and only get to go on our quarterly visits, we used to visit weekly and the standard was always the same which is exceptional. Well done SushiPlanet.... please come to Sydney!
Always great service and fresh food!
Amazing sushi with friendly service
The service was very slow, the sushi was very poor qualitu and the mixed tempura was greasy, it didn't taste authentic. Definitely won't be coming back again as there are much better Japanese sushi restaurants in Adelaide.
Hopeless service. One waitress hardly understood a word of English. Only 2 bottles of Sake available from the menu - same with desserts. We asked for food to be brought out course by course but they bought our whole order out and dumped it on the table. And why a huge TV in a so called restaurant ? When we asked for a fizz they waitress did not know which one they were serving !! Etc., etc.
Fabulous sushi.! I even ordered takeaway and am eating it right now! Delicious x
The best miso soup. My daughter who has been to Japan said its the closest she's tasted since she came back. Yep that's good. Sushi set was also delicious. My favourite place to enjoy Japanese food.
Food is fantastic. Service is terrible but waitresses were very friendly and lovely. Don’t expect prompt service and be prepared to ask to be served.
Food great, service poor. Place was not busy but our empty plates sat around for the whole hour after we were finished. No follow up service once food served. Having to look around and wait to see a staff member before ordering more drinks is really poor service when the place is not busy. And is no-one capable of using trays for drinks anymore? For the cost and quality of this food, better service is required to match.
The menu offered a good variety of food. We enjoyed our shared sushi roll, udon bowls and baby octopus karaage set. Food was tasty and satisfying. Service was friendly but very unattentive. There was only one waitress, who was kept too busy with take away online orders. The only times we had contact with the waitress was when we ordered, when she brought our food & when I went to the counter to pay. We had to help ourselves to cutlery from the next table & had to help ourselves to more bottles of table water.
We had to wait quite a long time for service. The food was ok but the table water was awful, the bottom of the bottle was greenish with algea! Very bad experience. We are definitely not coming back.
The food was mediocre and bland which is as far from authentic Japanese food as you can get... The service was slow and one of our orders were forgotten, even after asking wait staff about the order several times. We ended up getting it as take away because everyone else was done eating ages before the meal came out. Service was slow in general (ordering, seating, paying the bill) even though the restaurant wasn't even close to full capacity. The worst part is the pricing... $17 for a plate of 6 small slithers of salmon... The fish did not taste fresh either and nothing really made this place worth the price. Our table wasn't fully set out properly with cutlery and dishes either. Quite frankly this place serves the same food as a cheap sushi train for double the price.
Great fresh food
Reserved a table for 5 in advance but ended up being seated in a longer table. Gave our reserved table to someone else. Lucky on the staff that we weren't too fussed but poor management on their behalf.
Food quality was good bordering on average for the price. Service was pretty good but the beer could’ve been colder for a draught. I think a 6.5/10 is a fair call.
