What an amazing dining experience. Food and wine are so beautiful. Cooked to perfection and the flavors were out of this world! Try the Fig and meatballs for a starter. Also, the fish with clams was amazing!! The Syramasiu for dessert was something you will never forget!! Book now!

Lovely dining room, but quiet that evening. Lovely food, albeit a limited menu - friendly and efficient service, amazing wine list.

Very large servings for starters - probably too big. Not a lot of choices for mains but food is done nicely . Very European interior feel to the restaurant

Ambiance was very nice, staff were attentive and friendly, the food was quite nice (but slightly overpriced for size), but a large focus on the extensive wine list (I don't drink so can't comment, but my other guests loved it)!

Service was great food tasty and wine delicious. Only issue was the restaurant (which was not full by any means) the staff insisted in seating you close to other groups. 2nd time here and will be back.

About Syracuse

Opulent European dining by Philippa Sibley Found in Bank Street in Melbourne’s business district, you can bank on the fact that you’ll receive damn fine food at this sophisticated diner. The opulent dining room is often filled with business workers looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Take a seat and sip on fine wines from all over the world and experience the incredible talent of Head Chef Philappa Sibley. Graze at your leisure on a European inspired menu featuring plump and juicy olives along with soft mylk bread served with basil and black garlic butter before digging into delicious starters and mains. Try the crispy pork belly with Jerusalem artichokes or indulge in the Murray Cod served with smoked pipis, green and black garlic. Open Monday to Friday for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and on Saturdays from 6pm, this is a truly unique Melbourne dining experience you can’t miss out on. Best dish: Confit duck leg, puy lentils, brussel sprouts, smoked speck, port sauce
