Value for money

The setting is great for lunches and the food waitress was warm and welcoming. The food was not up to previous standards. We have been many times, as it is also conveniently located and generally good value for money. Most of the group rated the food very ordinary. However, I would go back and give it another chance.

Great service, lovely staff

The calamari are nice and I enjoyed eating it. My partner also enjoyed the pistachio dip of the roti bread he had. On our mains, the burger patty doesn’t really taste much but the angus scotch are perfectly cooked just as what he want it. There’s a big portion of the servings of the food which is great for sharing and family dining. With the staff, they are hands on and making sure that every customer are okay with eveything. The place itself is lovely and well-presented.

The Waiter, Tom, was exceptional and made our visit very memorable by his wonderful service and fantastic sense of humour. Etta, the other wait staff member was also great.

About Table Forty Three

Just your number Located in a modern building in downtown Darwin, Table Forty Three is on the ground floor of the Mantra Pandanas hotel. With clean stylish looks and a relaxed, almost-tropical vibe, the restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience for tourists, local couples and families – most nights are warm enough to open the large windows. As a pre-concert venue, it provides quick and efficient service. Locals rate the lunch specials and the standard “pub grub”. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, travellers staying at the Mantra appreciate the option of breakfasting on the spot. As lunchtimes can get busy, it is good to see that locals still rate the service as friendly and welcoming. Try the root salad, which has been praised for its generous proportions, well-cooked roast vegetables and fresh greens. Best dish: Tempura crocodile.
