A popular gem amongst our premium selection of the trendiest restaurants right now
Phantastisch!!
Wonderful food and very friendly service.
As usual, fantastic food & wine. From the soup to the desert, everything was gorgeous, elevated by attentive, friendly and knowledgeable service (am lactose intolerant so need some advice when choosing appropriate meals). A highly recommend it! Sam
Very good ambiance, nice place, and good food. Pork Shank is a must
Not sure why this place has great reviews, food was very salty and unable to be eaten. Had the chef special 5 course tasting menu. A disappointment especially for the price paid as this isn’t a cheap place
My return visit. Continues to be a little gem, with a very warm welcome. Went with my own selection of small tapas for my group of 4. Mostly hits, in particular the white clams, sauteed squid and pork cheeks, but I thought the sauteed octopus fillets were a bit tough. In fairness, my fellow diners were fine with it. Overall, a good night out.
Food just ok (odd flavours, gloopy sauces and oily eggs) while being hugely overpriced (the tapisco menu ranges from around 11 to 16 euros). Not particularly hygienic either - we found a bug in our bread basket. We live here and there are much better places to go to locally for much less. Go elsewhere.
It was really delicious food, nice staff with great service. If you like to share, we recommend to order several small starters to taste. We will come again!
Friendly waiters and very good service. Food quality good but doesn't match the price. Kinda overpriced for what you get. Overall grade: good but not exceptional.
A good choice if you want to taste portuguese cuisine. Kindly attention and professional team. Interesting wine list. Do not forget ask for the "pao de lo"!
Our meal was amazingly delicious, and so graciously served, worth every penny. The seafood was so fresh and plump and the ‘simple’ sauces so very delicious and intriguing. They present a selection of ‘welcome’ nibbles which are charged individually, so if you don’t want them all just leave untouched and ask to be charged just for what you decide to eat. We ordered a selection of small dishes, Petiscos, sautéed shrimps to die for, carpaccio cod with fried egg, mixed by the waiter at your table, fried squid, very lightly battered, not greasy. I had a glass of delicious light red wine called Splendidious. Which it was! 7euros but a large glass. Worth getting off the beaten track for, and, while in the area, why not visit the covered market nearby? (a more local/real experience than the Time Out version and a good alternative for a cheap meal).
What a gem of a restaurant! The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Having decided on the tasting menu, we put ourselves in the hands of the chef and he didn’t disappoint! Delicious and subtle combinations ensued - real treat and good value too! Thank you! Highly recommended.
Muito simpático!
Service was great. Food good but over priced. Portions small.
We`ve chosen the Chef`s menu and was an amazing experience, almost as a trip through all Portugal and its flavours, great pairing with local wines. Totally recommend!
Very good choice for bacalhau and other typical portuguese tastes, with a modern touch, like filetes de polvo and bochecha de porco preto, which were really tasty. Very good choice of wines available, with many options.
Well worth the experience. A must-visit if you can only visit three places while in Lisbon. It was in our top two and we were lucky to get a reservation.
Incredible taste menu experience. You say what you don’t like or are allergic to and the chef compose a menu for you. Each small portion is accompanied by a glass of wine recommend by the sommelier. Not cheap but definitely worth the trip.
Superb noite !
