Welcoming staff, and a good outlook over the bay. We booked for the Sunday evening dinner through "thefork". However, on our arrival the restaurant was closed. We were offered a seat in the bar and were told we could get something to eat there, but decided to leave. We returned for dinner on the Monday evening and were very pleased with the service and food.

First ones in the restaurant with only 2 people in after us and the wait for drinks/service was as usual, curiously long. Service was however, very polite and accommodating :) We love the scoth fillet here and come for this meal alone. Lots of exciting gluten free options too! Not a great place if you are in a rush but worth it regardless! Will be back again soon.

I have food intolerances and the water was helpful and I enjoyed the pork belly confit with some vegetables and sweet potato fries. I had no problems and enjoyed it very much. Everyone in our group of five enjoyed their meal.

We were charged incorrectly for our food and drink. Rectified once called about issue.

This experience will NEVER be repeated by us. The staff was inept and inexperienced. The booking online was not received by them so they were unprepared when we arrived. The staff could not get a drink order correct, or the mains order. We were served an incorrect meal. The food itself was quite nice (except for a very fatty steak) and there were only a few tables occupied in the whole restaurant so they can’t say they were run off their feet.
