Food was excellent however the day we visited the service was very slow had to wait 20-25minutes for a drink and had to follow up on our order on a number of occasions. The food was delicious and couldn't fault it.

The food was fine. The time it took to arrive was a different matter - plus our coffee order wasn't put in so we waited pointlessly. We arrived at 1pm & didn't finish until 3pm for 1 main course & eventual coffees. We had to give up on the Archibald!

Beautiful restaurant so conveniently located in nature and opposite the AGNSW. Sadly we had a terrible experience. Waited 90 minutes for our mains! Asked three staff to check with the kitchen with nobody coming back to us. Only to learn eventually that we would have to wait another 15 to 20 minutes. We left and it ruined a special event. Very disappointed.

We had a great lunch, pastas and salad, outside on the terrace on a beautiful day, overlooking the park. We found the food and service to be just right for a midweek meal and the setting wonderful. Will definitely be back.

I have dined here numerous times; the outside tables have a great ambience, inside can be quite noisy. On the day we lunched recently, my friends said the chicken salad was very good; it looked fresh and the serving was generous. However the pasta with prawns was very disappointing; the pieces of prawn were tiny - about the size of a chickpea. I notice this dish is no longer on the menu. Also on this occasion the service was disappointingly inattentive; our empty plates remained sitting in front of us for a long time after we'd finished eating and we had to ask for them to be cleared. And then a while later we had to ask to see the dessert menu. Overall not up to their usual standard.

Excellent location but the quality of food and service are very disappointing. No manners from waiters and waitresses which is vey sad and I would probably never go there again. Pitty given its location is a excellent for all occations

Very disorganised,, booked table two weeks ago at the beginning staff couldn't find reservation but table was ready. The quality of food is below the average, would not recommend for any occasion. Location is good.

The Terrace on the Domain is an amazing find. The food is great and the staff and service are outstanding. The wonderful view of the trees and foliage in the domain just rounds off a perfect experience.

The restaurant is in an ideal setting and the food superb but it was the amazing staff that took this restaurant over the 100% mark. They looked after my birthday flowers and explained the Italian menu beautifully for our guests previously from China. I can't wait to go again.
