We requested some bread to start which wasn’t on the menu. Were served 2 pieces of toasted bread with nothing on it, no side of butter even. Carbonara was ridiculously salty not enjoyable at all. My friends pasta was served with a whole crab, in its shell. Didn’t anticipate that, we both thought the pasta would have crab meat mixed through. It was messy and hard to get to the meat of the crab. Disappointing dinner experience.

As always wonderful.... the italian lady from Lake Como, lovely... the pizza was great, the drinks great... nothing's ever a problem... lovely atmosphere.. we'll be back....

Best Italian restaurant in an area full of great Italian restaurants. The 2 chefs are remarkable. Everything that is good about Sicilian cuisine is here. Fresh, balanced, with great creativity. Great wines well priced. The lady who runs the floor does an amazing job. Wonderful ambience. As good as anything in Catania or Palermo. More than just a meal - a great night out. Sensational.

Great authentic Italian food with a lot of ambience and warm hospitality! Perfect for a group or dinner for two! Especially enjoyed the Fettuccine Beef Ragu and the Orecchiette is also a favourite!

The staff make you feel like a member of the family. All were very helpful and attentive. Food is delicious and the wine was great (thanks to the waitress for her suggestion) we’ll be back and will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Booked for my brothers 21st birthday and shared a number of pizzas with my family... each one was authentic and absolutely delicious! We were able to bring in a cake with no extra charge which was lovely. When we asked the wait staff to kindly bring out the cake and help us embarrass our brother a little, they all got on board with tambourines, bells and singing. Had a wonderful time overall, thanks for having us!

That’s Amore was disappointing on several levels. The service: difficult from top-to-bottom. Our reservation was lost, the service was extremely slow, repeated, consistent and frankly unhelpful up-selling and the wrong food being placed on our table and then immediately removed, it took 10 minutes for any request (what the specials are, our bill etc.) The food: we had the arancini which was a decent portion but ultimately bland. We also ordered a bowl of chips which were decent. We ordered the capricciosa pizza which was quite oily and smaller than expected. The beef Ragu was somewhat nice. Ambiance was loud and cheap decor. The menus need to be re-printed and perhaps the layout re-thought. Overall it seems as though the restaurant was underprepared and had a lack of customer centricity. Finally - while normal the restaurant loses marks for having a card surcharge of 15c on EFTPOS or 1.7% for any other card without any explicit notification.

I was really disappointed in their gluten free pizzas although I had read great reviews. The dough was probably too watery as it was chewy and uncooked inside despite them trying to re-cook it. The normal pizzas were ok, but for us Europeans, it didn't reach the standard we know from overseas. They tried to make amends with offering a digestive, which was pointless since I'm pregnant. I was so looking forward to celebrating my birthday there given the reviews, but what a disappointment. I won't return there.

Love this lively and bussling restaurant. Even with staff shortages it worth any waiting time to enjoy the fresh and crispy crust pizza with a great salad. And the antipasta choices are great too. Try the ricotta cake too if you can!

The food is really good. However, I think they are under staff. So it is difficult to get someone to order and it take quite a while for the drink orders to arrive.
