Argyle food nights are super cheap and good value for money. Trouble is the music is so loud you can't really have a conversation. Wouldn't return.

The booking is not necessary, our table wasn’t ready so we had to wait until the manager find one for us

The bar was super busy with 3 staff members - the service was ridiculously slow. I requested a table and was taken to a dirty high bench top shared with 2 others. the lady didn’t know about the fork booking / discount It took 20 mins to get a drink - didn’t get a drink so we left!! No cutlery No salt and pepper

Good offering during happy hour. Would come again for a quick casual after work drink / catch up.

A had a drink come out with lipstick on the glass and it couldn't be mine or my other guest because we weren't wearing lipstick. It then took bar staff 10 minutes to make a new drink. That was early in the night and disappointing. Also my reserved signs were removed quite early which was really inconvenient for my guests and I. Otherwise good experience. Good venue to celebrate 24!

I'm ashamed that I had the idea to take a group of 14 people to the Argyle for a meal. I booked through the website, where I had to specify that I wanted seats to make a booking for a dinner, which seemed a strange request. But I had been before but only for dancing, never for dinner. When I arrived at the Argyle, the tables for reservation were in the centre of what is usually a dance floor, and so our table was right underneath three speakers. This was at 7pm and the music was so loud that it was unbearable. It's ok to have music that loud if you're dancing and you're able to get away from it if it's too loud, but to sit at a table it was torture. I was ashamed at how disappointed my group of 14 were and how uncomfortable they looked. We ended up leaving after one drink because the atmosphere was unbearable. My feedback would be 1, don't play music so loud at 7pm. Maybe after 9pm or 10pm, but it wasn't ambient music it was dance floor starting time music. 2, don't put tables right underneath the speakers.
