1/10My online reservation for 6 didn’t make it into the handwritten diary. They were fully booked but squeezed us in. Ordered pork, told none available. Ordered 2 sides, hadn’t come by half way through the meal so had to go and ask for them, have been here probably 5 tomes, absolutely the worst. Will go to the airport fast food outlets next time, at least you get the food you order and service.

6.8/10They did not have our booking when I arrived but prepared a table quickly. There was a group of 9 of us and our food came out in a timely manner. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Flying High Every hotel needs its signature restaurant, and Blackwattle Grill at Rydges Sydney Airport is an impressive one. With its glass-fronted wine wall, industrial-style lighting, and darkly tiled open kitchen, the Blackwattle Grill takes airport precinct dining to a whole new level of style and sophistication. It's the perfect option for hotel guests, jetsetters and trendy foodies looking to experience something a little sleeker. The restaurant showcases the best of Australian produce and flavours, from its world-famous Black Angus beef to mouth-watering Crystal Bay prawns and Sydney rock oysters. Those guests who would prefer a casual meal can choose from options like a gourmet wood-fired prosciutto and rocket pizza, or the juicy Angus beef burger. The attentive restaurant staff may suggest a fine Australian drop to complement your meal – perhaps a Yarra Valley pinot, aged Hunter semillon, or Margaret River chardonnay. Classic modern Australian with a fine drop? It's a perfect match. Best dish: Black Angus beef
