We absolutely loved it and my partners Pork Knuckle was to die for but my schnitzel was dry and tuff disappointment as the Mt Pleasant Tavern has amazing ones. Loved the noisy atmosphere because of the style of restaurant. It was Mackay we dined at.

We have tried the 50% 3 course meal, orders the pork knuckles but taste not that good as I expected. However I will come back again only for their beer but not the pork knuckle

Having been to other Bavarian Restaurants I guess we already has some expectations. This restaurant's food was much lower in quality, significantly lower in quantity, and more expensive even though the meals were smaller. (Note: My wife and I normally only share a meal when we dine at other Bavarian restaurants. At this particular Bavarian restaurant we had a meal and dessert and came away feeling our apperities were not completely satisfied).

I always had a great time at The Bavarian in Sydney and it was first time at rhe Broadbeach venue and it was very disappointing. My partner has had never been to The Bavarian and we were looking forward to try it out for our anniversary but it was a mistake. We drove over an hour from home to the venue and it was busy and loud. So we had a booking for dinner and found out the table service is indoor ( which was great as it was cold outside) but the music inside was soool loud and bad that we decided to sit outside and order our food and drinks directly from the bar, which is awkward as you have to line up with all the people that are only drinking and it an take a while till someone is finally free to take your order. Besides, the tables outside were full, I mean, full of dirty stuff from last costumers and the waiters would walk pass many times and ignore that. They were out of the most popular German beer they have on tap (which was another reason why we drove so far, to have a nice German experience) and the Entrees was pretty average. Main course was delicious tho. Unfortunately not a place we will go again.

had no table for us even though I had made a reservation and confirmed the reservation. Was told that they had too many people you came in without a reservation. Staff were rude, rushed off their feet and could not cope with the amount of people that were there.

terrible service. staff couldn't even provide napkins. chicken wings were dry and my brothers had a bite taken out of one of his when placed in front of him.. they did swap it out but was still disappointing. we booked a table and when we got there she said they weren't going off the bookings.. luckily there was a table available but there was no method to the service...

Terrible experience. We went for the wings promotion where said buy One drink and get chicken wings for 0,10 cents. At the restaurante had just 2 people to serve, it took me 15-20min just to get my table, after 15min to get my beer. Also the promotion was buy a ONE LITRE beer no any drink, and wasn’t 0,10 cents wings you had to pay 2,50 for 20 c.wings really spicy. We asked to change for no spice and they said it wasn’t impossible, at the end we spend $30 and left the restaurant hungry. What a bad service and bad promotion. Never more.

Came in for the wing special on Monday. Am actually quite disappointed as the email ad advertised $0.10 wings with any drink, only to find out upon arrival that it was with any 1 litre beer. This is and was quite misleading and will put me off returning for some time. I feel the disclosures on the website and ad should have been clearer. I came down with 8 people and two remained as they did not wish to buy such a large drink. If however it was a half litre beer im sure all would have stayed.
