Having been to other Bavarian Restaurants I guess we already has some expectations. This restaurant's food was much lower in quality, significantly lower in quantity, and more expensive even though the meals were smaller. (Note: My wife and I normally only share a meal when we dine at other Bavarian restaurants. At this particular Bavarian restaurant we had a meal and dessert and came away feeling our apperities were not completely satisfied).

Not happy with the last experience I had at The Bavarian at Broadbeach. We had a table of 14, booked and reserved. We got there at 1pm, waiter didn’t come see us until 2.10pm so we ordered drinks - drinks didn’t come until 2.50, then our food didn’t come out until 3.10pm. We were there for my birthday, I only had 1 drink. Food wasn’t really cooked, the portions looked smaller than our previous visit and we were to pay a surcharge for dining on a Sunday. Very poor experience this time, very bummed as I wanted to show off how awesome they are but they really disappointed me this time, especially the drinks service

The food was ok however the service was terrible! The waitress asked us to repeat everything and then we were brought the wrong drinks, wrong food and then the bill was wrong. Unimpressed. As said the food was ok but wouldn’t rave about it.

Two groups who were allowed to be extremely loud inside - perhaps should have been set outside.

Food tasty, fresh and well presented. Service good and attentive. Music well suited to the occasion which helped atmosphere. A few people at our table weren't happy about price but we came away satisfied. Wouldnt recommend drinking there unless it's happy hour however as drink menu is quite pricey.

About The Bavarian Broadbeach

Broadbeaches hottest restaurant. There’s no doubt that the Oracle complex at Broadbeach is the place to be seen on the Gold Coast. And if you’re there looking for a bite to eat Bavarian Bier Café certainly delivers the goods. Perfectly positioned alongside premium fashion retailers, this restaurant is designed to be a ‘destination’ venue, boasting a chic interior, stunning mezzanine and a large outdoor dining area with the capacity to hold up to 350 guests. The menu features both hearty and healthy options, delivering traditional Bavarian favourites as well as a few Modern-Australian classics. Their bier list is just as impressive, featuring a lengthy list of imported brews all chosen to reflect different styles, moods and cuisines. This restaurant is an ideal destination for after work drinks, family outings or functions of all shapes and sizes. Best dish: German Sausage tasting platter.
