Been here the second time. Love the pork belly as the skin is so crispy. Pork knuckle taste great and even the vegan schnitzel is delicious too! Catch of the day is a must have for fish lovers
Attentive wait staff. Delicious schnitzel, and GREAT vegan option for the husband.. only comment really is around the super small side of slaw that comes standard with the meal - suggest you order an extra side if you want more than a tablespoon of slaw.
Entree was late and could not get the attention of the staff. Had to get up and walk over to a staff member to ask what was going on. This also happened when I wanted to pay. Could not get staff attention and even when I got up to look for staff could not find any available.
Service was very slow
Only comment would be that the coffee arrived much earlier than the dessert. But dessert was well worth waiting for..coffee was also very good.
Forget desserts unless prepared to wait in excess of 30 minutes.
We used to go to Parramatta Bavarian and thought it would be same. It was much better there, food, ambience etc, esp the food tasted better, servings were better and I think cooked better We had tasting plates. They were really really super fast with food, so tells me all precooked, ridiculously large servings but for us very wasteful (they weren’t like that at Parramatta). Beer gravy just awful, chicken schnitzel no taste, pork was good, sauerkraut and red cabbage good too, sausages or wieners or frankenferters mmmm, maybe no. It’s not value if you can’t eat or don’t want to eat everything on plate. Soft drink in a beer mug, it was like serving a 1.25lt bottle. I get the big generous servings but I also question it. Service is great, very attentive. Really good for large groups, parties etc and I suppose value there, you could buy dishes and share (if we had have known we could’ve shared one and still not finished it) Asked for a quiet table (if there would be one? Big loud restaurant) away from large groups, smacked in middle of big tables, couldn’t hear a thing, not each other or the wait staff. We literally spent about 30/40 mins there. We tried but won’t be back, just not for us. I’m sure many love it.
Good place to take the family. Good kids options and good German grub for mums and dads, great German beers too.
Great food portion and authentic flavours
Wouldn't answer the phone to take my booking. Service way too casual and disorganised. Food ok, drinks consistent.
Staff were friendly. BUT - order was constantly mixed up...drinks didn't arrive as ordered...drinks we ordered on arrival arrived after we re-ordered...but other drinks we ordered for our friends 20 minutes later arrived before the original order. Steak was blue instead of medium and we had to send it back. Pork knuckle was boring and tasteless. Meals arrived all over the place in terms of timing. The staff apologised and gave a free beer and then some happy hour tokens. But the confusion over food (including food that was served to us that wasn't ours and drinks that were brought that weren't ours)...was just ridiculous.
The staff here are the only hope for the place; they are so enthusiastic and helpful. Choose only chicken schnitzel as Australia doesn't do 'veal' really. A glass of wine is $14.00 so drink beer, esp. WIT BIER
One of our party did not get her meal till 25 mins after the rest of us and it was only a salad!!
Service was a little slow, no drink or childrens menu given. Food is always great though.
Nice food , good value with 50% discussed

Great service. Generous portions. Will be back
Great food and service. Lots of options to choose from

Best dish: BBQ schnitzel with bacon, jalapenos, coleslaw and sweet BBQ sauce.
