Reasonable place, the food was not bad, but nothing special. Was a little disappointed that pork knuckle wasn't available when we were there. Nice live music, although it may not be as suitable if you intend to chat or have babies as it may be a tad loud.
Loved the atmosphere here! Perfect for a group outing or a couples casual dinner date. The food portions were good and lots of variety to choose from. Loved the sausages and can’t say anything bad about them!
I have been to the Bavarian Chermside many times but today I was disappointed because it took more than an hour for us to get our food from the time we arrived and our order for drinks got mixed up so we had to order for the drinks again after a very long wait. Lastly one of the meals we got is not what we ordered. All in all kudos to the staff for trying their level best to rectify the problems once we notified them. No love lost so we will definitely be going back to the Bavarian Chermside.
Very nice new place! And the food was fantastic. Glad they finally put one out northside for us to enjoy.
Seats outside a little uncomfortable. Got a sore back. Need to add some cushions.
Great place great food and drinks
Crazy crowed ! We love the vibes here! Best place to drinks and yummy food
We had great time best food
There was only one waitress working at the time, she saw us standing waiting to be seated for quite some time but continued doing something else. The Barman took initiative and came out and assisted us. There was a substantial wait on the food even though there were only about 10 tables seated for lunch. The chips came out cold, however the chicken burger and wraps were good.
Best food ! And drinks
Brad was an incredible host. The food is incredible and you can take home left overs!
I'd like to thank the hostess for finding us table and chairs as they had no record of this request which was asked for at booking. Fathers day was quite busy and very loud but that is to be expected. We had a very nice early dinner with little children and I would recommend The Bavarian.
Service was a bit unprofessional. On days of particular holidays eg Father’s Day they need more staff on board
Tasty schnitzels great German beer great service
We used a 50% off food deal through The Fork so it was super cheap ($30 for a massive plate of meat and sausages which two of us could not finish) plus some drinks. Service was fine, it was reasonably quiet as it was a Monday night but I would imagine it gets pretty busy there on other days/in summer - it's a huge space. The did a doggy bag for the left overs. Pretty happy with it all round.
Generous proportions with good atmosphere
Went for the ghost pepper eating challenge, really good ghost pepper chicken wings. Would love to see that on the menu.
We went on a particularly busy night, the staff were helpful when our order was missing a couple of items. The Buffalo wings were amazing and our drinks were good!
Booked ahead and when we arrived were told that there were no tables, only for people that "booked"!!! Was then sat at a bench top, a place where nomads hunter and gather. Tasked to order at the bar, the bar staff asked for a table number. There wasn't one to offer. 30 minutes later our drinks came delivered to the open plains of the bench top. We were then moved after I explained to the hostess that there were several 'reserved' tables open right in front of her. Since we were moved to a table with a table number, I made sure to tell the waitstaff/bar staff where to deliver the food. 2 hours later, with 3 bar staff on a mission to track down our food, we were presented with our meals. Moral of the story, even if you book ahead, don't expect a table. If you do end up going, bring your own table number with you, better yet, prepare your own meal and have it ready to go in case your meal grows legs and walks away into the abyss!
Food tasty and well presented. Staff very pleasant ad helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening ,

Come for a beer, or five!
You’ve met it’s older brother, the Bavarian Bier Cafe, now meet The Bavarian in Chermside. Creating a casual dining experience with large wooden stools and old beer kegs, you won’t be able to go past the Bavarian. This spot is ideal for a catch up with friends, family and colleagues whilst sipping on the best beers in town.
The Bavarian showcases an extensive range of Urban Craft Brewing Co. beers, as well as flavoured and craft beers. With so many different schnitzel dishes to choose from, your only concern will be whether to go for The Big Oz or the Uber Schnitzel.
