Had a great meal and the place was good. Easy parking. Would definitely go back. Meals and drinks were huge and good value for money. Staff were friendly.

Went for lunch. Food tasted nice and was cooked well. Unfortunately it seems that the menu has been shortened from our previous visit and I was unable to select the meal I had previously have there which was 5 out of 5. Our table ordered 2x 500ml beers and neither of them was actually filled to the 500ml line marked on the glass. This means that unfortunately we did not receive what we paid for. Please don’t be cheap when pouring drinks Bavarian bar it is noted.

I love using the technology etc but feel like some of the social interaction with staff was lacking. Plus I asked about how to order the paddles off schnapps but no one ever got back to us.

Really disappointed in that to order you food you had to do it through an app. My family and I do not go out to a restaurant to spend time on our phone. It was frustrating and made things difficult, rather than easier. We would have much preferred ordering the usual way, with physical, hand-held menus, and a waiter or waitress. The waitresses were lovely, but unhelpful due to the ordering system. The food was also too salty. Just some feedback, hope this helps. Please bring back the option to order traditionally, no phone/app required!

The snitzels were oozing with oil. We had quite a long wait after using the new ordering and pay system so were very hungry and ate the food anyway. Unfotrunately the amount of oil in the food made us feel quite ill for several hours after

Too expensive for the quality of the food. Pricing on web for the Bavarian for two plater, a difference of $18 ($59 on web actual cost $78). Ordering drinks on web (their app) attracts extra charges and if you go to the bar they accept only cash (since Covid not many people carry cash). Would not go there again.

The restaurant has just reopened so possibly could be teething problems. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ordering system is not great as only let’s you add things not change or delete from your meal eg change sauce ! Meal when it came got cold very quickly as plates were not heated and finally the fries tasted like they came from McDonalds. Overpriced for what we had.

So I’m a little bewildered here, as we visit the Bavarian at Broadbeach occasionally. First off, the food was great so hats off to the chefs cause they did a amazing job! But, I found the service here absolutely rubbish. Upon arriving, it was a case of “I can’t be bothered” type of attitude which was obvious...think they were looking for a night without anyone coming in!!There were 5 people on this night and not one of them approached us at our table. We had to walk and find someone to serve us and when we did we were told we have to order food at the bar??? Never at any Bavarian have I had to do this. Regardless, the young girl did a fantastic job in looking after us after this. The funniest thing was, 2 senior waiters / management were their twiddling their thumbs the whole time and barking orders at this poor young girl who was basically looking after the whole place. It’s a shame to say but it would seem every Bavarian, bar Brisbane has serious management issues. which truly show and affect the whole experience. When it came to payment, the fork discount wasn’t applied even though we spoke to the same person when we arrived. Suffice to say, although I appreciate the 50% off deal....we won’t be wasting our time again PS - it’s a German restaurant, no need for American sports to be played on the tv, just a suggestion

pretzels were great however we were left a little disappointed with the schnitzels. we expected freshly breaded and cooked schnitzels however they came out a little 'heavy' due to being pre-coated somewhat earlier (in our opinion). would have been a great experience if the schnitzels came out freshly hand-breaded and prepared immediately before cooking, light and hot, which is what we expected for a bavarian type restaurant.

A hidden gem. Helpful and friendly staff. Many delicious items on the menu, the portion sizes are very generous. My partner had the 340gr Texan chicken schnitzel, he struggled to finish it. I ordered the crispy pork knuckle, it was amazing. Our new favourite spot.

We have been here a lots of times and not once have we had a bad experience. The food is delicious well priced and kids eat free on sundays.! The beer is perfect no flat pints here.! And on this occasion we got to watch the boxing on there multiple screens which meant no matter where we sat you still got a good view.! The service is always great and we honestly couldn’t fault this place we love it here.

Disappointing. Ordered dessert, was told after 15mins it would be another 20mins as the Chefs are too busy preparing important meals. So essentially we waited over 30mins for a tiny scoop of plain ice cream to be placed in a bowl. Didn’t even think to offer a second scoop for the delay or at least apologize.
