The Bavarian Macarthur

The staff in entry were great, ordering proved a little tricky as the new tap and order wasn't working. The wings were super small, albeit tasty. The salad was at beat disappointing!!! In fact it was mainly leaves.....if I had wanted that I could have bought a bag of leaves..........rippes off

The Bavarian as we know it has changed in authenticity of the food. Service was excellent just the food was fairly disappointing. The Sauerkraut and Rotkohl where to soft tinned, or out of a jar. Same with the mash I think it was Powdered mash and the Schnitzel was fried very greasy. Me as a German I know my food so I may be a little more harsh but food was nothing we are use too from the Bavarian.

I thought the quality of the food was not as good as usual. Smaller servings, pork knuckle a little old and dry. The Sunday loading was also unexpected and disappointing.

This restaurant is a great addition to Macarthur. The staff always provide prompt and friendly service and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend if looking for a place to dine that offers a variety of beverages and food.

Very noisey, we werent offered a place to sit when their was plenty of quieter spots to eat. Weird combination of flavours in mains. When you Go out to eat and are disappointed it’s puts ya off especially when you can cook better bolder taster dishes at home. Sorry- just being honest. We won’t be back! Service was great tho Well done staff!

The food was really good, and the atmosphere exactly how you would find a bustling bier hall in Austria or Germany. The kids were entertained with colouring in sheets and crayons, so the restaurant is definitely child-friendly.

Big servings which makes it's a bit more worth it for the price and also considering it's all meat. Beers are always good and service was great! Would recommend coming here.

Ok it’s our 3rd visit and only because of the 50% deal. This time the food was actually good. The first two times was close to rubbish. The place is almost empty, I think due to its poor quality food, but it still took ages for someone to offer us a drink. Might I add some of the dearest alcohol in Campbelltown. $25 for a 1ltr beer is nuts. We need this place to be good, mustangs failed, this place is going the same way. This is part of a large chain, surely they can do it right and not just try and milk the locals for all it’s worth

The food was delicious. Huge servings. We feel it was very expensive and getting an $18 Sunday surcharge was a nasty surprise. Staff were friendly and efficient

Excellent food and reasonable prices. No table service if you sit outside - disappointing as it was quieter outside. Bench seats uncomfortable and heavy to move in and out.

The food was as hearty and tasty as you would expect from bavarian cuisine. Service staff were lovely and nothing was to much hassle. The Bavarian made my daughter's 21st a night to remember.

Nice atmosphere and the food and drinks were great. Food was brought to the table surprisingly quick. Live music was too loud making it difficult to hear the others at the table.

Great atmosphere, good for families, beer was amazing and food was spectacular! Service was also very good. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the person playing the accordion was very friendly and funny. Was definitely recommend coming here!

We have been here many times and always happy with the food and service, but tonight the service could have been better. The waiting staff needed to be more attentive and at least appear that they happy to be there.

Great atmosphere , waitress was very friendly ‘and was very patient with us explaining what was on the menu as it was our first time. Plenty of food with lots left over !We will definitely be back some other time!

Amazing food and amazing service. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty. We had a share plate and could not fault anything on the plate. The staff were all so wonderful. Very lovely and welcoming.

Everything was great. Service was fast. Food was great. Even the man playing the accordion was great. Seats were slightly uncomfortable but otherwise it was a great experience
