Staff were welcoming and friendly, but had to ask several times for extra plates and cups. I asked for tom sauce with the chips, none came. They were under the pump. The food was nice, but one of the dishes was forgotten...Great location on the rooftop, and live singer was good.
Meals were very average, not even ‘pub quality’ chicken wings from Coles I would rate higher. Not a cheap meal and quality poor. Went there early and was pretty quiet but for some reason waiters were very busy doing other stuff!
Cosy place and friendly staff. Used The Fork 30% off so we’ll priced too. Kitchen is open for anyone to see which is something I liked as I could see that it was clean. Will come again
Great food and it’s a great partnership with the Fork. We will go back soon.
Food was good but the waiting time was ridiculous, we waited at least 50 min and we had to remind our waiter that we are still waiting for our food.
Had a booking however no one was at the door, a sign was up saying sit anywhere and order at the bar. There was 1 person serving at the bar for majority of the time until someone else came over.
Went to pay bill wrong of course not fork discount that’s ok he said he can’t change to bill and I had to wait for a manager to do it. That’s ok. but the guy called me over as if I was a dog. I said to him I call my dog just the way you called me. I could find nothing on the menu that wasn’t fried or processed.
Good food. Good service. The lady who was playing the accordion completed the atmosphere. Good value.
We were having a work farewell and we had a great time good atmosphere, good service and amazing food , though the pasta dish was quite small . Had a lovely evening thank you
For the price of the food, the food was extremely average and definitely not worth it. There were no staff to attend to us at all and most of the tables were dirty. If the staff service was better I feel like the prices may have been slightly more justified but in the end paying over $30 for a schnitzel of a very average quality cannot be justified with the service that we received. Other than a very poor food quality to price ratio and poor staff service the atmosphere was nice.
The pork knuckles has improved since we were there last , very tender and moist. The serve of the platter is generous and great for sharing. We really enjoyed the food and will go back again. The service was very good too .
The food quality has improved. Pork knuckle was tender and tasty, sausages tasted great, schnitzel not overdone and the drinks served in big mugs. Only thing we didn't enjoy was the loud music and noisy venue, but that may appeal to the younger crowd. Overall a pleasant experience as we have eaten here previously and were pleasantly surprised this time!
Food was excellent but they are understaffed
The service is terrible , waited so long for our order to be taken too long long for drinks to arrive meal (make your own salad) had items missing no cutlery was given , staff did not come back to ask if we wanted another drink you have to hail them down . Food and service has diminished at the Miranda location , the service manager is apologetic when advised of the poor food and service level.
We waited over 30 minutes to receive our first drinks from ordering. Only 1 person serving at the bar. Very inadequate staffing levels for Saturday night. We could see our order sitting on the bar for over 15 minutes. Very frustrating. Staff were very nice and did their best under staff shortage issues.
Had the loaded hot dogs. They were very good and the seasoned fries was a nice surprise. As a Brew Mates Klub member we received a free pretzel which was warm and went well with the beer. Again they were out of stock of the beer that I wanted but the substitute was acceptable
Welcoming staff, ok food, great beer. Sundays kids eat free, but a $19 Sunday surcharge kinda evens that out... they had also free Facepainting, which our girls loved. Overall good Sunday outing but still quite expensive ????
First time at the restaurant. Lovely lady greeted us, down hill from there! Asked for drinks but were given the wrong order! Had to ask several times for a bottle of wine before it arrived! Had a cranky server ( he’d had a busy night at the restaurant the night before) the food was average, entree ok but main was tepid and bland.
Fantastic food and atmosphere as usual. Can’t fault this place

Bavaria comes to Miranda
Housed on the upper levels of the Miranda Westfield building, Bavarian Bier Cafe is a seriously cool spot. With sweeping views and a gorgeous quirky decor this venue is a great place for a cheeky drink or a fully fledged meal. Chow down on their famous weiner schnitzel and pair it with a stein of traditional Bavarian beer. You’re in for a good time. They also have some lighter Modern Australian dishes on the menu plus some killer desserts which are worth saving room for. Bring your family, bring your friends and get to Bavarian Beir Cafe.
Best dish: wiener schnitzel.
