The crackling was spot on and mash creamy perfection to compliment it. I wasn’t a huge fan of the sauerkraut and jui that accompanied however it did provide some acidity to balance off the richness of the meat and potato. I’d have loved some greens but next time will just ask for some coleslaw or a salad in the side- win win. I also had the pork bao bun as entre and this did have coleslaw and a delicious sauce so I was very happy overall with the food. - The Bavarian Rockhampton

The food flavour was excellent. Meals were served fairly quickly. Bar staff were not helpful and rude and the music was too loud as conversation were almost shouting.

Had a great wedding anniversary few friends and expectations were fully met. Staff were really friendly I every way . Food was to a really high standard . Highly recommend this restaurant

I have been to the Bavarian about 4 times previously and it was awesome. This time I was in a party of 6 ladies all 45 years and up. The bell ringing because of the schnapps orders was really off-putting to us, at least 10 times during the night. Of course, its a fun gimmick, but made us realise we will be going to a more quiet venue in the future.

The meal was overpriced. The food was average and repeated on me all night with all the fat. The straws in the margaritas were frozen so you couldn't drink them. The floor was so slippery and had puddles all over it. Ordered our meals from the table using the app so all the wait staff had to do was bring them out. The restaurant was nearly empty. The décor and atmosphere was great.

The venue was fine, your marketing is fine, Staff & Service is good, but we came for one of your Signature Dishes. The food however was not of what we expected. Part of the meat was dried out and to hard to consume. The sauerkraut tasted non-authentic. We had to wait 1/2 hour, and the food was virtually cold when it arrived. I am sorry, we where somewhat disappointed.

The occasion was my birthday & the staff made it so special singing happy birthday, ringing the bell whilst bringing out the cake. There were 14 of us & our food was filling. GreT value for money.

Great place to have a feed, food was great, staff very friendly. The only down side was the hour wait between the starter and the main meal and then at a guess desserts were forgotten as the waitress come out flustered 45 minutes after the main was served asking if we were ready for it. Every where can have a off night, overall good night as at least they kept the drinks flowing, will go back again.

This is the second time I've been , first time work function , food when we got it all was good , this time food was NOT good , seated at 6.15 meal orders within ten minutes young kids . 7 and 8 , coloring books and activities was very good there meals came out quickly and were good 45min later still no food , one enquiry no follow up , I'm getting a bit over it kids are now over it as well. we ask again . to be told there records show the food was delivered to our table . clearly not . much apologies later and 5 mins our food is bought out, schnitzel was woeful served with chips and a ice-cream scoop of coleslaw not really a $26 dollar meal and any pub schnitzel i think would have that covered all in all pretty poor from my two encounters .

Really good addition to Rocky food offerings. We got the 59 dollar plater for two. Very good and we had to take home some leftovers, big hearty meal! Good range of drinks too. Peach schnapps was a prefect after dinner drink. Check it out

Restaurant atmosphere is great but music was too loud to converse at our table. table service was very slack with the clearing of our plates, it took forever and one plate was still sitting on our table when we left. We also didn't receive our desert before we left as part of our meal. Otherwise our food was fantastic. Regardless of this experience we will be back

Food was great and so was the service. Ordered and had drinks brought to table within 5 mins and food was only 10 min wait served hot and fresh. Will be visiting regularly

We were soo excited to be celebrating a family birthday however after waiting for a little over an hour for the last four meals for the table I went to enquire and was advised they were busy, I let them know the other guests had finished and four were yet to get their meals, on checking they apologised and advised used that our order was misplaced , offered us a free drink and two and a half hours after arriving left having just had our meal. Very disappointing.

Liza was a great Hostess! She greeted us and showed us to our table and explained the menu to our table thoroughly. She even came back to check up on us and to see how our meals were and if we were happy with the service. 5/5 for this staff member she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Hopefully when she is working again!

Was reasonable they do not clear the tables of plates quick enough as our plates were left for over 1/2 hr whil we waited for our dessert that had been forgotten and this is the second time this has happened

It’s a fast food restaurant with a difference. Food came out fast. Staff were very lacklustre. No cutlery bought to table. Food was ok. Prices were reasonable. Wouldn’t call it fine dining.

Had to order on app with no instructions. Ordered our entre and mains and everything came out together. Questioned it so they took main away, when it came back cold and tough. The dogs even had troubles trying to chew it when I gave them the left overs. Very disappointed. Will not be going back

We were very pleased with our overall experience. The staff were great from go to wo they were polite and friendly. The service was 2nd to none. The atmosphere was great. I would definitely be going back.

Food was amazing, great service. Really really bad fly’s inside. Made the experience less enjoyable and made meal feel rushed to get away from the hundreds of flys swarming the tables. Really need an air curtain or something. Would also be enjoyable to receive drinks earlier than half way through main course.
