Great meals, waitress listened to our order and we received what we ordered;-) which isn't always the way, We change things on the menu and I don't like ice in my glass, ask for no ice and usually it arrives with ice - ANNOYING..... So I was very happy that we got what we ordered;-)

The food was not great. A bit dry and very overpriced for a pub style meal. It was table service but there was hardly anyone there to help serve you and they missed our garlic bread for entree.

A special occasion was spoilt by extremely noisy music and immature waiting staff not able attend to our needs. The wine list was limited and food average. The area we were seated in had heaters...which were turned off halfway through our evening.I will not go there again.

Try the Atlantic Salmon, it’s to die for. My 2 guests had the beer battered garfish and loved it. The only unanimous complaint (and not really a complaint as such) were the hard chairs. Also it was good to see that Seniors discount is back at The Beach. Will be back.

5 of us went for a birthday celebration lunch. We ordered 1 share plater, 1 chicken schnitzel with garlic prawns , 1 salmon, 1 graziers beef pie. 2 of us shared a share platter. There were only 3 aracini balls not 4. The squid and onion rings were lovely. The pork belly was a bit dry and the salad was woeful! It consisted of only lettuce,radish and carrot. No tomato, no onion and no dressing. For $45 not good value. The girl that had the salmon loved it. The man that had the chicken schnitzel said it was a bit small and the salad was woeful too. The man that had the pie liked his pie. The place was very noisy because it was busy. There was only 1 staff member that was very lovely . The other staff need a bit more training.

The hotel offers full table service but we’re a bit slow, then when our meals came, they didn’t know the table numbers and tried giving our food to another table……..a lot more training for the staff would be a good idea

Food and staff were great. This will definitely be an amazing place in warmer months, where you can enjoy the full effects of the decor and layout. The only drawback was when going to pay we had to pay as a table if using discount, instead of being able to split and apply the discount to each person. When we arrived and noticed it was table service we asked could we use the discount and split the bill. It was yes, to both, but no mention of being unable to split with discount when paying. It didn’t bother us, but on a bigger table they may be taken aback. That said, we’ll be back as it was a lovely night.

We have been previously and enjoyed food and service. Tonight the music was wrong genre and too loud. Service was a little slow . We will come back but probably at lunch time rather than dinner.

For a place that’s now only table service, we couldn’t get get any service. We ordered drinks and did not get them for another 20 mins, we then waited another 10 mins before someone finally stopped at our table to ask us if we were ready to be served. The choices for a pub meal are now fancier, and more expensive. We then waited another half an hour for our food. And my guest enjoyed her meal mine was terrible and half of it was cold. Also your wait staff are very unkempt with their and I use this term loosely “uniform”. I will not be coming back here again.

My boyfriend had the bbq meat lovers pizza. It was below average and quite dry. I had the arancini balls which were ok, quite claggy but tasty. We also shared the chips which were bland however ok with a bit of salt.

The food was good, but the service was rushed and because we were not able to get drinks from the bar ourselves and the waitresses were busy we weren't able to get a second drink. The nightclub next door was very loud and pretty much ruined our meal. We left the restaurant earlier than we normally would because of the noise. Disappointing
