The Boathouse has a lovely modern atmosphere and is well located overlooking the marina at Port Macquarie. The food was delicious. My son and I had the Wagyu Beef which was cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and efficient. I recommend the Boathouse.

Got there early but welcomed to sit in lounge til opening time. Sat at a window table and nice view. Although the menu is rather small it offered a good range of ideas for lunch. The pork cutlet was thick, juicy and one of the best I have ever had and thats saying something cos its my fav dish. the meat was tender, adamame beans done to perfection and the watermelon radishes were something I had never seen before. A side order of broccolini at $10 was undercooked and expensive. Wifey had entree prawns which were huge and (so she says) delish! Then she had the sliders whichwere only two but combined with the prawn entree was sufficient. Topped off with 3 flavours of sorbets. A couple of pinot grigio and one soft drink. Along with bread the meal cost $139. Will return to try dinner menu later in the year. All in all 9/10 (no one's perfect!)

Had a $100 voucher so only had to pay $2 as the bill was $102. If I had to pay the amount myself I would not to happy. My husband steak he ordered was 4 little slices of steak for $40, it was a entree size not a main.

The Pork Belly Main is no longer on the menu - This was a standout and was the main reason we kept coming back

Lovely fresh seafood, food that was toasted and couldn't be eaten because too hard, not really worth the cost

Mains were basically fancy pub food. Flavours were ok but for the price we paid not worth it. Nothing on the mains list really jumped out at us as we felt like we were at an over priced pub. The scallops and squid special were fantastic and were the only highlight of the night. The pork salad was terrible, it was all corriandar which meant that was the only flavour I could taste. There was too many greens and no mango or pork to really be seen. For the price I paid for an entree I was very disappointed. With so little positives to the night I defiantly would not be coming back. After spending $390 on food that was extremely average and underwhelming I would rate meals a 1/10 I only gave a 5 as the drinks were good as well as the bar service by Alex. Kaitlin and Imogen were fantastic with service as well. It’s just the kitchen and meals that let everything down.

Our food was average and non of the flavours went together. The meal was expensive and underwhelming. The fillet was inconsistent even though it was served medium rare. The pork itself was lovely and tender with a crispy top but the rest of the flavours didn’t go. The cocktail I had made by Jacob was fantastic and one of the best I’ve ever had so we are happy with that experience and service was pretty good but unfortunetly this was our only positive.
