Staff were friendly but we waited over 40 minutes for eggs on toast with bacon. Poached and fried eggs were so overcooked they were powdery and dry.
First timed mining at Boyz 4 Breakie. We went as a couple for breakfast after competing in the Mornington Running Festival. Food was delicious but the service was a little slow. My hot drink didn't arrive until I was half way through eating my breakfast.
John provided fantastic customer service, very friendly and professional!
Fabulous venue for breakfast/brunch/lunch with family and friends. Outdoor street seating in good weather. Great food and service. Can get a bit noisy when busy.
Disappointing. Boyz 4 Breakie was always a good place to catch up with friends. Breakfast Menu was not precise. Coffee orders were sent back one one occasion. Unfortunately, will not be recommending or going back again.
$90 for breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children. Standard of food has sadly declined over the past year. It’s only breakfast but B4B used to really present and cook the food well which set them apart from most. They appear (for now) to have lost that edge. Which makes them just average now but with above average prices. It feels more like a conveyer belt standard. Service still great, just feel the standard of food has not maintained. Probably won’t take much to lift it back up.
Food was good, service friendly but meal took very long time (40+ minutes) to arrive.
Enjoyed good food in a pleasant atmosphere, with great, unobtrusive service.
Great coffee, wonderful eggs Benedict.
Friendly greeting and great food. Boys breakfast and almost vegan highly recommended. Great tasting coffee and beach views made a pleasant and relaxing breakfast.
Fantastic service , staff worked very hard to accommodate us , very happy
John and the team although being busy are the time ti make the visit an individual experience. Food options are fantastic and the service impeccable. Weather you have a coffee, tea or one of the many other options its a favourite for brunch, lunch or just a drop in.
Anzac Day is very busy in hospitality and most places understaff for costs NOT here Service amazing friendly and helpful Will def go back
Great team fantastic service always happy and food is the best. Tasty and well presented
Great service, food and atmosphere! Would come back again if I visit this side of town.
Very disappointed in our experience. After finishing a lovely long weekend in rye we decided to book at The Boyz for Breaky for brunch after hearing great things about it from a friend. As I knew it was a public holiday and we were a large group I booked 3 weeks in advance and specifically for seating for 10pp with 2 x high chairs and a space for a double pram. On arrival we were shown to a table set for 6 that was up an extremely steep flight of 20 odd stairs. I proceeded to query this with the staff and I was quite rudely told that that’s where they put group bookings despite advising them in well advance that we would have a double pram and that there were ‘plenty of strong men working to help!’ After standing in the middle of the crowded restaurant for a few minutes and no one offering me to help we proceeded to lift our 15kg pram up the flight of stairs. We then ordered our meals and they all came out looking not too bad however mine was obviously missed as it came out a good 15mins after everyone else’s and looked like it had just been thrown on the plate! The staff were very unapologetic and did not seem to care about our poor experience. I have actually never experienced worse staff attitudes before... expecially from the managers!
WE HAD A GOOD TIME
Establishment was great, they had no idea we were coming though.
A great place for breakfast with a wonderful variety of menu items
Outstanding service and great food. We sat outside and had the view overlooking the sea. Wonderful experience.

Stuff-Your-Face Worthy Brekkie
This place is a serious institution when it comes to breakfast on the Mornington Peninsula. It’s the type of place with a long list of loyal fans. And it’s not just the right-near-the-beach location that makes it a hit (though it certainly helps). The Boyz 4 Breakie does breakfast and lunch like they own it. The atmosphere is casual, bustling and at times a bit loud, but that adds to the fun. Start your day off right with a coffee or freshly squeezed fruit juice. Then dig in. There’s brioche French toast if you want something a touch on the sweeter side. Of course the range of omelettes are always a hit. All the classics are covered, including pancakes for the kids (whether little or big ones). For all day grazing, you’ll find burgers, fish and chips, prawn curry, scallop linguine and plenty of other choices that are all about being fresh and fun. The menu is seasonal so you can count on top quality produce that’s sourced from local providers being used. Once you become a fan of The Boyz 4 Breakie for breakfast you’ll want to try the Sunday night dinner too. This is the type of place where you could dine every day. And why not?
Best Dish: salmon omelette.
