Good value and tasty food
Great service lovely food
A great venue, great service
a great Stonegrill, meat was good and our son enjoyed the cold stone ice cream. Good service.
Very nice place to have a lovely meal with friends.
food good very popular venue
Restaurant was very busy, also had a private function, but service was excellent and meals were served hot!
Stone grill is a must try. Best Angus Eye Fillet. But if there is a party it can be very noisy.
The stone grill is always our favourite. The steamed greens were quite small in size, but were tasty.
Tucked away in Brompton Has car park Good set up
Very nice meal, staff were very nice
Dining room was a little noisy, service was a little slow.
Very good waiting service. Well done!
Excellent food as always and the wait staff were exceptional!
Brillaint service. A great hybrid between pub and high quality resturant dining.
Nice quiet restaurant with good food and service
4th visit and service still exceptional. Food great except I thought the mushroom/gazpacho/pita entree was a bit bland and expensive at $19. Husbands stone grill spot on and my B burger was fresh and tasty.
Have been to The Brompton many times. Really enjoy the food but last night pre show waited for over an hour for stone grill meals. Had to rush meal so we could get to show. Allowed 1 1/2hr hours for dinner . Would have loved dessert and coffee but due to the wait on main meal did not have time.
The food was amazing

Heritage quality and style
The Brompton was a hotel which became prominent in the revamp wave that spread through SA a while back, resulting in a stunning renovation of this heritage-listed building. The classic decor means you can safely come here for a special occasion, or a business lunch. Having a couple of different areas to dine in means that a quick meal in the café or Courtyard is possible, or else a lingering late lunch in the main restaurant is also a treat – surrounded by crisp white linen, subdued light and large airy windows to sit yourself in and watch the world go by. Dishes are carefully served in a manner very similar to tapas, however here they call them ‘boards’ which are designed to share or to build a meal for one out of a lots of smaller ones. Main meals are available however to be cool you really need to do what the cool cats do and share…everything.
Best dish: Murray Valley Pork Loin Cutlet
