Fabulous
Great night with very attentive staff. Food was very good and large serves
I had eaten here before and really loved the green bowl so ordered it again.. Today, I was a little disappointed. My 'green bowl' was not as delicious as previously and the egg was hard boiled not beautifully soft boiled as before. Service was great.
I have been wanting to visit the Butchers Block with my Husband. A lovely night out after a busy day. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely in the garden section (quiet).
The staff were very friendly from the moment we walked in. Our table was ready and the service was excellent. The food and coffee were perfect. Cannot fault it
Had breakfast - disappointing. Food portions small, overpriced and average in taste. We thought it would be much better as we've been here for dinner and it was fabulous.
What a pleasure to find a restaurant that caters so well for food intolerances. As a non-dairy gal, it was great that I could choose a DFO option on almost everything on the menu. The food is superb and never boring. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant comprises a couple of adjacent storefronts with different chair/table configurations so if you want to sit at a standard table rather than on barstools (which are very comfortable) ask before you book.
Lovely local spot for all day breakfast.,
Firstly my party of 3 was seated right by the door on a cold, wet day which meant we were cold. There was a long delay in our orders being taken and we waited for an hour for our meals, despite our advice that we were on a tight schedule. I will not be returning.
I ordered a steak and the was not asked if I wanted sides, and was brought out a steak on a plate. Once I discussed this with the staff they were very apologetic and fixed everything up quickly. The food was great and I was really happy with the service overall. Recommended.
Amazing food and great service for a very busy place!
Note, if you haven't been here before their is a cafe with the same name where I waited for 10mins in a completely empty but open space. The restaurant is on the left. Food was great - we shared the lamb shoulder and sides. All were excellent. Value for money was also great. Service was a little slow, but all in all a very enjoyable evening once we located the correct entrance.
Very enjoyable lunch. Lots of delicious sounding options on the menu, complimented by a decent wine list and nice service. A bit pricey for a regular spot, but definitely a good option when you’re after something a little more special, that retains a cafe vibe.
We had table booked for 7;45 pm. Our orders placed around 8pm but we had to wait over an hour for our food too be served. Just two people ... two steaks! The staff were cleaning tables around us after our food had been served. As we the only people left. Our waitress was polite and apologetic but the maître d was hopeless. We asked him how long our food would take and he went off and never came back with a response of apology. It’s a shame as the food was excellent but was spoilt by the poor service and lack of the very basic levels of customer services once the service had fallen below the expected standard. Although we are locals we won’t be rushing back there.
Everything was good, we eat there a lot, at least every week (usually lunch) and have never had anything except great food and great service there. For whatever the reason we waited two hours for the mains last night, not a deal breaker as we were not in a hurry. But not ideal. We will go back again, and I’m sure they will be back to their usual high standards. Just not last night.
No complaints! Friendly staff and good food. Easy to park nearby and tables not to close together. Service was prompt and the wait staff were very friendly.
Delicious as always! We love coming here, whether it’s with the family or friends. Great service too! (Only negative is music for ambience is forgotten on occasion).
I had the flounder special which was drowned in a white sauce of some description. Surely it is far more palatable with no sauce, just lemon, pepper & salt. My partner's baked barramundi was delicious. Service was excellent but very slow. It was explained you were unexpectedly busy for a Sunday night.
Not what it used to be. Service was a little slow, starter was awful. Main course were good. Desserts were 50/50 in that one was great and one was terrible.
Always delicious ????????Attentive staff. Varied menu to suit everyone’s desires. Pleasant atmosphere. Food is always substantial, varied and enjoyable ????
Great service, great food, great a atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the experience. I would return again tomorrow!
