This was my third time having my dinner there. It’s always been an excellent experience of every single dinner at Butcher’s Block. Good quality food with high cooking standard together with good presentation. The warm-hearted welcoming service made me feel so impressed being a customer there.

Felt a bit odd being seated in day time area with less people but didn't detract from service or food

Service was disorganized - we were moved from the bar and placed in the cafe area which was cold, un-inviting and had zero atmosphere when a table in the warm and inviting restaurant was empty. We had to complain to the floor manager who was very reluctant to find our booked table in the resturant Most of the staff were very pleasant but one waitress seemed either very new (if so, this is 100% ok) or disinterested in her job. Food was ok but overall the experience and meal was not worth $240 and I probably won't be back or recommend your establishment to colleagues or friends.

Probably more suitable to younger diners and families but not so much for older couples (like us) and definitely not for a quiet intimate/first date dinner. The tables are so close you can start up conversation with the next table! The food was good, as it should be for the price!

We will certainly return - food was wonderful and meals all came at the same time, although we had to ask several times for our drinks. Being Father's Day it was busy and noisy. There was a good vibe - but for us the tables were a little close and it was difficult to hold a conversation with kids at the next table talking loudly. We would return at a different time on a quieter day.

overall continues to be great. Just a few waiter issues this time with several forgotten order items and bill mistakes

Not really a kid friendly sort of place. No kids menu etc. Service was slow on a not-so-busy evening and initial order wasn't correct. Kind of overpriced considering...
