The board on the roadside advertised lunch and wine for $25. There was only one choice, the fish of the day, realistically we saved a couple of dollars on the wine. Two of us had grilled fish and the other person had hers battered. Both were very nice. Sweets were very nice too but expensive.
Couldn't recommend the Butter Factory highly enough, always a warm welcome and attentive staff, amazing food & a great selection of drinks & desserts. Great value for the price & good meal sizes.
Steak was over cook Pork belly dry and crackling not crispy Crackers that came with entree tasted stale Poor service - had to go to counter to request plates and water
Roast of the day was not what we thought. Pork Steak was served pretty dry but tenderish so no crackling or much jus/gravy. Beans were basically uncooked. It was just very different that's all. We would never go back for a roast of any sort. I had burramundi the week before and it was amazing. Butter Factory is for fine dining i think.
Very impressed with our first visit will be back and will tell our friends

Food was excellent as always. Seafood platter was delicious and fresh. The 10% surcharge and credit card fee on top of the bill leaves little room for tips.
Food was good and so was the atmosphere.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Squid ink linguine was fabulous.

Excellent service. No long waiting times. Food was delicious. Appetiser: bread with dukkah Entree: pork ravioli & vegetarian hommus dish Main: pork belly & barramundi Could not fault any dish. The bread for the appetiser was amazing.
unfortunately the steaks let the meals down. they were too chewy.

Great service and beautiful owners, would be great for big parties and groups in the side room that’s been around since the 1800’s, very friendly owners who are keen to let you know about the buildings history and how the butter factory came to be. The food is excellent, mostly all local produce and has been carefully crafted to form beautiful tastes.
