8.5/10The board on the roadside advertised lunch and wine for $25. There was only one choice, the fish of the day, realistically we saved a couple of dollars on the wine. Two of us had grilled fish and the other person had hers battered. Both were very nice. Sweets were very nice too but expensive.

8.8/10Food was excellent as always. Seafood platter was delicious and fresh. The 10% surcharge and credit card fee on top of the bill leaves little room for tips.

10/10The best restaurant in the area! We always visit when we are down, the food I'd delicious and the staff are fantastic. Highly recommended.

6.3/10Although sitting by the doors & windows provided a wonderful view of outside unfortunately distracted by numerous dead blowflies on the windowsills. This was disappointing as I made an early booking to be sure of quality seating to celebrate a special occasion.

Thank You for taking the time to review your experience at The Butterfactory for your lunch booking, there are some perils in having a restaurant amongst the cow fields and this is on occasion one of them. Thanks Again for taking the time to review your experience

739 Greenwell Point Rd, 2540, Pyree, Australia
A South Coast gem with a sophisticated Modern Australian menu.
Travel down the winding Greenwell Point Road and you'll find The Butterfactory - a gorgeous heritage building that sits on a 2 acre sized property. The beautiful location has drawn the attention of many a couple who choose this as an idyllic wedding location and the menu definitely adds to the charm.
Serving elegant dishes such as confit duck leg and mushroom & truffle risotto, this is one special place for a lazy Sunday lunch, a special occasion or simply when you want to treat yourself.
Best dish: Braised and smoked lamb shoulder with colcannon mash, green beans and Guinness reduction.
