Great service and beautiful owners, would be great for big parties and groups in the side room that’s been around since the 1800’s, very friendly owners who are keen to let you know about the buildings history and how the butter factory came to be. The food is excellent, mostly all local produce and has been carefully crafted to form beautiful tastes.

About The Butterfactory Restaurant

A South Coast gem with a sophisticated Modern Australian menu. Travel down the winding Greenwell Point Road and you’ll find The Butterfactory - a gorgeous heritage building that sits on a 2 acre sized property. The beautiful location has drawn the attention of many a couple who choose this as an idyllic wedding location and the menu definitely adds to the charm. Serving elegant dishes such as confit duck leg and mushroom & truffle risotto, this is one special place for a lazy Sunday lunch, a special occasion or simply when you want to treat yourself. Best dish: Braised and smoked lamb shoulder with colcannon mash, green beans and Guinness reduction.
