I have been to this restaurant a few times before. Unfortunately the latest experience was a bit disappointing. One entree, the bisque, was cold, and had to be sent back. This was handled well, so thank you for that (ie apologies and offer of complimentary coffee). But the bisque was not much warmer when it was returned! (we are aware it is usually served warm). The gnocchi main dish was the size of an entree. The other main dish ordered at our table was a good-sized portion.

About The Conservatory Restaurant

The Conservatory restaurant offers contemporary Australian cuisine, with dishes simply prepared with care, to share. Produce is sourced primarily within Canberra’s 100-mile foodshed to support good farming in the region. The focus is on organic and biodynamic produce, heirloom meats, seasonal vegetables and fruits, and sustainable sea and fresh water foods. The views are incredible and the food is even better. Get here! Best dish: slow cooked wagyu cheek, celeriac puree, confit eschallots, brussel sprouts.
