Atmosphere and the view are fantastic. Food can improve- I had beef carpaccio but it was more like a raw minute steak!

The Conservatory is set in Canberra's wonderful arboretum, with great views back over the city. The food was the usual high quality, a great fusion menu with many interesting flavours in combination. My only reservation on this visit was the wines on offer. I don't believe that the standard matches that of the food. There are so many fine vineyards around Canberra that this remains a puzzle. Still...highly recommended.

We were able to "squeeze" one more in without any trouble. We had to wait a bit for both drinks and food because it was a very busy morning but we were happy to wait and apologies were offered - what can you do? Overall, we had a very pleasant gathering of friends who hadn't seen each other in a while and the beautiful setting added to our positive moods.

I rated food down because the Barramundi fish (ordered by three of us) was very dry. Also we had to ask for lemons with our fish - really!!

The Conservatory is a lovely restaurant with good food, wine list and views. The service is good. A nice place for a casual meal or a special occasion.

Nice venue with great views. Service was good but the food was disappointing on this occasion.
