We had the the veggie curry, it was pretty terrible. I ate mine but my friend sent hers back, Firstly because hers was cold, then secondly because it was tasteless. They were pretty good though, they apologised, bought her another meal and checked twice if she was okay. Good recovery, and the staff were pretty young, id say under 30, so hats off to them.

The meals were great but way to much served on the plate for one person. I had a big eater on my table and he couldn't get through it all. Otherwise the cove is a wonderful place to dine.

Service was very good as usual . The food was okay except the Beetroot Risotto which was undercooked and tasted bland. No traditional Parmesan cheese. The menu has not much of variations. The specials are very much of the same on weekdays.

We have dined at this hotel on several occasions over the years and sadly our visit this time was not up to the usual standard. We decided to come to the Cove to celebrate our 43rd Anniversary and as we were going out that evening we decided to have a light lunch so ordered the "seniors menu" of Calimarie which came out luke warm and slightly over cooked.. Regrettably, while not a drastic situation it did dampen our celebration.

Great location for us and view. Staff were very friendly, allthough they were very busy on Melbourne cup day the waiting time was very good. I purchased a bottle of wine and it was not very cold, asked the wait staff for a colder bottle and it was replaced straight away with fresh glasses. Thank you will be back next week :)

The service was very good and the deck is always nice to sit out on, however the last couple of times we have eaten here the food hasn’t been as good, so that was disappointing.

Only half the order was ticked over to kitchen, so the rest of the meals came out half an hour after the first half. Kids nuggets came out frozen, and no drink or ice cream were given with the kids meal, even though the menu states they come free with the meal. People from one table were all standing up and hovering in between other tables and right behind us banging into the chairs for about half an hour and not told to sit down or move to the bar area.

We were greeted by smiling staff who promptly showed us to the dining area and explained the ordering of food and drink. Food arrived about twenty minutes from ordering which included a rib eye steak. Meals were very generous so make sure you arrive with a healthy appetite. Service and meals of a high standard.

Loved our dinner at The Cove. The parmas were excellent. The meal was generous and delicious. We were impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff who helped us with our rewards app and discounts. We enjoyed the ambience of the bistro and the deck. Nice sports bar also.

We’ve been coming here over the many years since it opened and it’s still a favourite place for whenever we can get together. It’s a beautiful outlook over the marina. Always a delicious meal. The hardworking staff are always lovely.

Father's day booking for 12pm. Restaurant not that busy yet. We were shown to our table told where to order food and drinks. Ordered garlic and cheese bread no side plates on the table no offer of water from wait staff. There was no follow up to see how everything was from wait staff. Ordered two eye fillet steaks one medium one medium to well both way over done grey on the inside. Wait staff came to clear table and spilt all of the crumbs from the garlic bread that were in a serviette. They went into my handbag and also my lap!

We really enjoyed out family lunch at the cove Hotel today. There were 8 of us and the menu was very varied Something to suit everyone Even a seniors menu for Mum. All the meals arrived at the same time and were all delicious. Everyone enjoyed their lunch The ambience of the room is fantastic, overlooking the water Would highly recommend
