Great place would definitely recommend trying at least once!

The idea behind the degustation was creative without jeopardizing the quality and taste of the food. Unforgettable experience!

From the instant we walked in the Cube we were looked after, the wine tasting in the premium bar with the lovely Lucy and Georgie was a wonderful way to start. The service in the restaurant was as perfect as the food. Some wonderful suggestions of wine from the staff paired the extraordinary dishes that have to be experienced to be believed. Our afternoon at the Cube was a life highlight to be sure!!

Josh our Sommelier did a magic job- working with the information from Dan in the cellar door combined with faultless service from Kelly made our 5 hour degustation lunch a time to remember forever. Chester Osborn has set out to put McLaren Vale on the map- he has put Australian dining on the map with the Immaculate Cube.

The equal of any restaurant we have eaten in over the past 10 years. To put this into some perspective for your chefs, up until now our most memorable meals (exceptional food and service) have been at 9 Reinas Barcelona, the Andrew Fairlie, Gleneagles, Scotland, Florentino's Melbourne, I Pizzacaroli in Trastevere (little "cafe" in a narrow side lane that was magnificent), the Ledbury, Notting Hill, UK, Ritz London and the Waterside Inn, Bray, UK. Gordon Ramsay Chelsea, George V Le Cinq Paris and a few others of similar ilk didn't make the list. You guys have. Memorable experience: interesting, stimulating dining in a unique setting, taste sensations, great attention to detail and service, lovely views.

About The d'Arenberg Cube Restaurant

No one will be able to top your weekend story if you visit the d’Arenberg Cube in McLaren Vale. Imagine a $15 million, five story Rubik’s cube, overlooking a vineyard, housing a restaurant inside. With sixty contemporary artworks, including installations where you find yourself squeezing bike horns to release the scent of winemaking, there’s a bit of Willy Wonka whimsy here. Embrace the unexpected. Once your appetite for the eclectic has been piqued, you’ll be ready to move seamlessly onto the food, which is imbued with the same imaginative playfulness as its surrounds. Diners are invited to try the seasonal degustation menu with wines to match. Visitors take note, this enchanting Cube also fulfils that most seminal of roles within the winery – it’s a cellar door where you can pick up a few bottles for the road!
