This is the second time in around a month I have dined here with a small group. Both times the food was very good value for money, all received as ordered and lovely. Biggest issue here is the extremely slow service. Both nights I had a 6:30 booking and didn’t leave for three hours because the wait times were so long between courses. We were finishing up desserts and the music was turned up to signal they were closing but we weren’t particularly lingering, we’d just had to wait so long to get our courses, pretty sure dessert tonight came after 9pm. The first booking we were more acutely aware because we had two children in the group so wait times were more noticeable. This is a lovely restaurant with a fabulous view, great ambience and the staff are pleasant. Will certainly return but would be great if the service times were faster.

We went to Dart and Feather to celebrate our child-free 5 year wedding anniversary. We were seated directly in front of the performer and my first thought was 'oh no, I asked for a quiet spot' but it was the perfect level where you could hold a conversation and enjoy the singer, who was very good. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the chicken and my husband had the beef, they were the correct size without feeling full after a starter of risotto croquetes. I tried 2 cocktails, one was the watermelon and basil which was so fresh and delicious you HAVE to try it! We were not going to get dessert but I noticed the panna cotta was GF, DF Vegan, made with almond milk. This was surprisingly really yummy, and my husband who does not eat dessert ate more than half of it! For a 3 course meal, 2 cocktails and really great service, we found it to be perfect value for money, our only regret is we completely forgot to give a tip!

The restaurant itself was a hidden gem. The staff lovely and the food very good. The booking system was terrible as I booked on 12/2/21 for 20/2/21 and despite receiving confirmation and 2 reminders, on arrival there was no booking. We were accommodated but had to be rushed away as the table was precooked. The error was blamed on computer glitches but extremely inefficient and except we were lucky... we would have been turned away.

Everything was great from our warm welcome, the staff were super helpful and the food was superb. A fantastic eating experience would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We have been going to the Dart & Feather for a few years now and it never disappoints. Last night was no exception, the food was amazing, the service was impeccable and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants a restaurant with really good food, great service and can suit most budgets.

what a hidden treasure this restaurant is. we had heard wonderful reviews and decided to find out for ourselves. the food was excellent, the service was fantastic and to top it off a live singer with an amazing voice which added to the ambience.

We often go to this restaurant. Service is great, food is good, ESPECIALLY the desserts. My meal was the prosciutto pizza. Wrong choice on my part as prosciutto and rocket seem to be put on after woodfiring, therefore not hot enough. Will definitely go again but not order the same. Staff are amazing.
