Value for money

Excellent meal. Value for money. $49 for 2 courses. Great for a pre theatre meal. Great that dining is available from 5.30 which enables dinner to be eaten at a leisurely pace & get to theatre for 7.30 start Thanks

Nice relax to dinning in the hotel so we don’t need to go out in the cold night. Friendly staffs

The pretheatre menu was a bit disappointing with having over cooked salmon and chicken mains.

Very good value, warm and cosy on a cold winters night for a small group.

This hotel has an amazing atmosphere, takes you back 100 years. The service is slow but friendly. The food was value for money.

Had a wonderful pre opera dinner

I visited both the Bar and the Restaurant in this hotel. I found the service in both to be quite perfunctory and robotic - not at all what I had expected for a multi-star rated hotel! I had a cold drink in the bar (served at the right temperature, so that was good), and also some dim sum - these were lukewarm at best, and stuck to the paper lining at the bottom of the steam basket, making it very difficult to peel them off the paper in one piece - and in fact, most of them did fall apart when I picked them up! The food in the restaurant was nothing special, and very pricey for that "nothing special"! The male waiter who was my main server during my time in the restaurant was extremely unpleasant! There was not enough staff to cope with the influx of customers, and those that were rostered on seemed only interested in groups of diners, not single ones such as myself! There is also no independent wheelchair access into and out of the hotel. Staff are happy to assist with a portable ramp, but this is still not good enough! I will most likely not be returning.
