Came here for pre-theatre. The food and the atmosphere is lovely. Service is great too. Main challenge is time! We had a two course meal from 5:30pm and we were late to the 7pm Opera :( (and we were the first in the resto). They should start at 5pm or have a much speedier service during these hours so customers can enjoy even the 3 course meal without having to rush.

Parking is expensive & best only for small cars. Nevertheless, you won’t regret your visit.

Service VERY slow and inattentive. Two hours for three courses, and we had to wolf down desert to get to a show at the Opera House. Four or five times we had to remind waiters about things that had been forgotten. Entrees good. One main was tasty, but barely warm - probably left on the counter for ten minutes before serving. Minds not on the job. Won't be going back.

The location is great with a pleasant ambiance in a historic character buiding. The menu was interesting with limited gluten free options. The service was slow and there was a lack of communication between staff, with staff doubling up on taking orders. A great venue, but service not at its best.

We booked “The Governor’s Room” for a a birthday. We had a wonderful “Christmas-in-July” menu of three courses. The turkey was beautifully tender and the Christmas pudding and brandy custard absolutely divine! We had personal service from lovely staff who joined our fun and we had an absolute ball. Great night!

Nice relax to dinning in the hotel so we don’t need to go out in the cold night. Friendly staffs

The pretheatre menu was a bit disappointing with having over cooked salmon and chicken mains.
