We went for the a Sunday roast which was delicious. With a nice bottle of red and finished off with bread and butter pudding it was a really nice afternoon.

Had booked for my wife and I for Sunday lunch. When we arrived we were put on a tiny table in a snug beside a large group directly underneath a speaker, hence between sitting on top of the large group and under the speaker we could hardly hear each other. Food was fine and came out quickly but was nothing special. I was really looking forward to having a drink and meal here but was left disappointed.

The roast beef was quite fatty and very thinly cut, the service was quite average and we were sat almost in the way of people walking past. It's a lovely pub, good location and decor but the layout and service needs to be improved.

Couldn't fault the atmosphere or the food, though overpriced for a Sunday Roast. The service sadly lets it down, plenty of staff but all too busy to acknowledge customers are waiting and so ignored the whole 3 hours we were there.

Traditional British pub! Made me feel like I was back home. We had the roast dinner which was amazing and a good portion! Highly recommend.

Fantastic gem in the city. The atmosphere is fabulous the food delicious and service very attentive and friendly. The pub is very English and very cosy. Wonderful place
