We booked a table for 7 people for inside the bistro. Upon arrival, they had given us a 6 person table with an added chair. We were quite squashed whilst other patrons who didn’t book, had 3 and 4 people sit in their 8 person booths. 2 people were on either side of our table sat at 6 person tables. Maybe we shouldn’t book next time and get our own adequate table. Food was quite slow, had to wait over 1/2 hr for food to arrive, not extremely busy. We asked one staff member for a cup of hot water, she looked at us in disgust “what? Oh, you want hot water, go to the cafe”. No customer service and there was a section for tips…. Ha! On the other hand, the orders were all correct and the staff who brought us our food were very polite and friendly, making sure we had all of our orders. ???????? They expect people to order with the QR code and then get charged for card processing fee, even my daughter doesn’t think it’s fair that we don’t have the option. Another reason for no tip. Food serving was decent considering the prices they charge for pub food. Food was ok.

We will have a look into our booking system to ensure squashed tables do not happen again. We are also sorry for any confusion, as our QR code is not the only ordering option. If you prefer you may go to any bar or the cafe and order there. We appreciate the feedback and will take it on board.

We booked for a table of 9 for inside seating, I deliberately wrote an extra note asking for inside because we had 3 elderly and children and didn’t want to sit in the cold. When we arrived, there were still quite a few random empty inside tables. Spoke to the ‘manager’ who claimed there were 400 people coming. So we were seated at the furthest end of the outside covered area. Even with the heater above, my elderly parents felt cold. Then when I went to order food at the counter, was ignored for 5mins when staff walked by. Eventually a staff member told us they are taking orders at the bar, so join the queue, Even though we didn’t want any alcohol. I heard staff telling a previous diner that Woolies discount cards couldn’t be done at the counter, had to scan QR code to order at the table. The whole process was repetitive and confusing. I input all 9 dishes, then to find had to login first. Had to input all dishes again. Wait time was 45 mins, that was pretty accurate. We got 2-3 dishes at a time, the last one was very late, male wait staff apologised. Few dishes weren’t hot. Most other wait staff weren’t friendly. Overall, disappointing night - service, value, time and taste. This wasn’t the only disappointment. Last few visits have not been pleasant. Don’t want to go back again… every time think time give it another chance, no improvement. Would NOT recommend even if half price.

The garlic cheese pizza was wonderful and piping hot, the main meals came out soon after and everyone was very happy with their food. The 400gm Steak was cooked exactly as requested.

Booked a table for 5 people 4 days in advance but we ended up getting a table for 4!!!! We had to give up on our table and stand up and wait for another bigger table to be vacant! Why would anyone book through the Fork if this is the Service that they get!?

Hi Roza, we do apologise for any issues with your table. We did our best to seat you near the play area as requested and these tables are a little smaller than our others. Our friendly staff are always there to help if you need any help with your booking or grabbing some extra chairs.

We had a big family lunch. The pub accommodated 16 people with ease. Yiu cam order at counter or at your table with a qr code... no extra charges. The indoor playground is also amazing and kept kids entertained. Was a great day out

The food was great. We had the beef brisket and ribs which I recommend. The kids had chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger with the bun swapped for a gluten free bun which was a nice suprise to have on the menu. The pizza there is absolutely amazing. Even with such a big table of us the service was fast. Great coffee and good atmosphere.

Fairly average pub experience. Food pricey for that quality. Meals arrived at different times - pizza took so much longer than rest of order. Reservation made for 7 but only 6 seats at table. No service upon entry, had to locate own table. Probably not somewhere we will return with the family. Maybe just for an after work beverage.

Hi Maggie, thank you for your feedback. Our pizza kitchen and bistro kitchen are entirely separate and do have different wait times. You may ask a staff member for wait times and they can let you know on the timing difference. At our main entrance desk we do have a host that seats our guests and our friendly staff members are also all available to help. We are very sorry that the host was not there to help you find your table and gather an extra seat. Hopefully you can give us another chance to show your our usual high levels of service.
