Davide Rebeccato

Originally from Italy, descended from three generations of bakers Davide attended hospitality school in Padova. He worked as the Sous Chef at Black Truffle and later at Latium, then joined the team at Michelin starred Imago in 2007. He was procured by The Oberoi Group heading up the team at one of their five-star hotels. He joined Aqua Dining in 2014 and The Nielsen in 2017, becoming co-owners of both venues. In 2019 he became a co-owner and the Executive Chef for The Fenwick.

We threw a friend's surprise baby shower/lunch here, the staff were so lovely from moment we arrived. The food was delicious too, maybe the mains could have been slightly bigger? We loved the Brussels sprouts and all of the desserts!

Absolutely stunning spot with great harbour views! Food was great but I felt like we waited just a tad bit too long for our breakfast meals to come out. I was also disappointed that my mushroom, kale and haloumi breakfast came with the tiniest bits of haloumi! I’d still visit again :)

The fish stew was delicious as was everything we ordered but the portion size of the stew could have been a bit larger.

Absolutely amazing, the best service, fabulous food and a great wine list. The staff could not be more attentive. We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Terrific location, environment, food and service. Best to come by Uber, ferries or the bus as parking in the area is quite difficult.

Service was excellent. We had a beautiful view by the window upstairs. Decor is sus 🤔. The entrees of burrata and the eggplant dishes were nice and interesting. The mains were a letdown. Snapper tails would have been great if they were fresh and the lamb Cordon bleu was unfortunately tasteless. The restaurant generously took that off the bill. The dessert were the best. We had creme brulee and the salted caramel tart was a Big winner.. do.

Melbourne Cup Lunch, $95 per person

For Melbourne Cup 2019, The Fenwick will offer a three course set banquet menu for $95 per person. The Fenwick is fully licensed. Credit card details are required to secure reservations for Melbourne Cup lunch at The Fenwick. You will not be charged at the time of booking however if you cancel within 48 hours of the reservation or if you fail to show for the reservation you will be charged a cancellation fee of $95 per person. Full payment will be required at the conclusion of your meal. Bookings are not confirmed until credit card details are received. In the case you have not provided these please contact us directly.
