welcoming staff. Nice & variety menu. Something different. Most important is amazing taste, best food. And thats what we want! Will surely go again.
So excited to eat at The Food Paradise Vegan Vegetarian Fusion. We made a late booking, it was a cold and wintery evening however we were warmly welcomed and soon our taste-buds were tingling with delight. We are new to the area and will be making this restaurant our go-to place. Look forward to working our way through the menu. Brilliant!!!!
This friendly little cafe is just the spot to go in Claremont. Even if you're not a vegetarian or vegan you will find the food amazingly tasty and excellent value for money.
Very tasty food, will certainly return and tell my friends
Excellent choices of vegan food with lots of flavours . Many choices . The produce was fresh and healthy . Comfortable relaxed setting and ambiance.
Had a great night of sampling some authentic Indian home cooking .. all the food was cooked from scratch and the flavors were divine .. will definitely be back regards Kevin
A fabulous menu and terrific food being meat eaters we love to go meatless at least once a week and this restaurant has the most delicious vegetarian food imaginable. Also gluten free option with one of the ‘breads’.
Delicious and interesting vegetarian Indian food. Everything tasted fresh and healthy. Thank you for a great night - we will be back very soon!
We appreciated Food Paradise was part of the Fork's Summer 'offer' as it gave us an opportunity to 'test taste'. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family as the prices are affordable and the food is delicious... with plenty more items we'll try next time! We chose crispy onion bhajids and then paneer pulak , lovely cream cheese in a spinach puree, and a similar lightly spiced mushroom; both with jeera rice with a slight cumin flavour... generous serves . Plenty of free parking in streets nearby and Claremont Quarter; but the first time you visit you must work out that it is a 'hidden gem' as it upstairs (or a little lift) in the broad open courtyard of an apartment block.
We enjoyed the basket Chaat . The Mysore Masala dosa was very crisp but missed the spicy sauce inside. The pani puri was served unusually but the puris were not crisp. The Paneer chilli was nice but the cabbage did not blend with the other ingredients. The service was fairly quick since only two table were occupied. Lovely location. Would recommend the place for the dosas and the Chaat.
Wonderful family run little restaurant with great service and wonderful food. Unique regional Indian cuisine with a difference - absolutely delicious and great value. BYO makes it an inexpensive evening out. We will definitley return soon!
good vegetarian food and good service , nice place for vegans and vegetarians, must try the buffet authentic Maharashtra Indian vegeterian food
It is so good to have a meal in a place that is unique, authentic and full of pride. Nupur looked after us with some outstanding choices of vegan healthy, light, aromatic and packed-with-flavour food. Not at all heavy and oily like some Indian food, the dishes left a pleasant lasting taste. They are having an all you can eat special $25 a head night on Saturday January 25th which is an excellent chance to test their wonderful selection. Loved the stories around the food and how they came to be in the business through Mother's recipes from back home in Western India.
This is a beautiful authentic Indian restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff took a lot of care to make sure everything was suiting us and our diet. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and like the setting in the beautiful courtyard of the St-Quentin apartments.
The food was absolutely delicious and my husband and I are meat eaters. We were taking our vegetarian daughter out for dinner. We would go back again on our own it was so good, really tasty, imaginative dishes. Would thoroughly recommend. BYO and no corkage was a bonus.
This was our second visit after 1 week, and it was disappointing food wise. Service was good, although food took some time to arrive. We were previously advised that this is because the food is cooked freshly. However the dishes that we ordered were not consistent with the previous week. They were salty and not as tasty as before. The pappadoms were floating in oil, and the raita was sloppy. We wondered if there was a different chef. Don’t think we will try again.
Been meaning to try this restaurant for a while, and finally got there with a great deal from The Fork. The food presented well and tasted as good as it looked . I love that the paneer is home made and soft. Service was attentive . Fabulous for vegetarians and vegans alike. Definitely be back.
A surprise find offering popular northern and southern Indian selection which is not common in most Indian restaurants. Entree has origins from Maharashtra which is very unique. Pleasantly surprised by its taste. A must-try for vegetarians/ vegans.
