Their special seafood menu $19 - we chose the prawn and calamari mix - very disappointed - only three small prawns in the mix

Met up with extended family form interste and we all had a great time. Kids enjoyed the playground and was relaxing for us parents to be able to have a conversation while they play.

Unfortunately person taking order entered our choices incorrectly. We ordered 3 Filet Mignons and ended up with 3 small eye fillets. Docket only showed we had ordered 1, after a bit of hassle this one was delivered and money refunded for other 2 errors. More training should improve things. Food was very good.

The bar service can be a little slow at times.

Been coming to the gap tavern a couple of times a year for 10 years (the kids have just outgrown the playground). Food and prices have always been reliably good for family night out.

The meals served to everyone of our group were presented and cooked well. Compliments to the chef.

Team members were extremely helpful. I was just a little disappointed in the chicken/pesto/Camembert with capsicum sauce. Too much sauce and nite night pesto / Camembert/chicken. The other three meals were great. Normally would have schnitzel or steak which are great. Thanks

We were a party of 8 adults and everyone had a different meal..all meals were very nice..compliments to the chef. And no long waits for meals. However, we were a little surprised they did not have Brandy at the Bar but will say, they did gave a free drink to our friend so that was good customer service. I know the restaurant has been extended out to the entry area, but has not much atmosphere there..maybe a lounge area could be created on the top area adjacent to the billiard table as there is no where to sit for a pre dinner drink...moreorless have to go straight to the table. Even a few bar stools at the bar or high bar tables would be good. We could then go into that area after dinner...We all enjoyed the night..thankyou to the staff who were on last Saturday night the 17th. Would come back.

The food was terrible, dry and over cooked. There was a rediculous amount of sauce on the t-bone, it was swimming in sauce! As a long term gap resident we have given the tavern many chances. No more. We will not be eating at the tavern any more.
