Very good
Excellent, friendly, professional service. Delicious food. Lovely ambiance. Definitely worth visiting. My friend made a booking for next Saturday! Highly recommended.
The food was extremely disappointing. Top marks for presentation and generous quantity but there was absolutely no flavour In my crab benny or my hubby’s Mediterranean brekkie. I’ve never had such bland food in my 9 years of living in Melbourne . The owner seriously needs to consider tasting every dish individually and re work them. Wasn’t worth 85 dollars spent .
instagram photo friendly food with unusual brunch combos of both asian and ME inspired foods; mostly tasty but flavour sacrificed a little for looks and colour; generous serves; coffee standard. now lucky to be surrounded by improved Pentridge village development
the restaurant atmosphere is just gorgeous, especially if you chose to seat by the glass window with the blooming roses garden view. The food presentation was amazing, colourful but the sauce taste was a bit plain and the crabs were a bit salty for me. I suggest more spicy sauces for the crabs. Add avocado mango salsa with lime and cilantro would be tasty and fresh! and plus more colourful! :)
Once we were seated and ordered, we had to wait awhile for our food due to the busy time. But once the food arrived...heaven! The food was delicious! Well seasoned and just yum! Came home full and fell into a food coma.
Very disappointing. Our coffees were served in plastic cups not sure exactly why! My sister order the chili eggs & almost chocked from the amount of chili they had put in it. Also served butter & jam in little paper ramekins instead of glass ones & charged us wrong on the bill :| the business has changed owners! Will not return. The whole experience wasn’t pleasant unfortunately.
Had a lovely time at this gem of a place. What a find! Will definitely come back again! Great location and insta-worthy food which is delicious too!
Food looked amazing, had the pancakes, very bland, the maple syrup saved it. The pink ice cream was horrible. The chairs are made of wood, had to leave as soon as we finished eating, very uncomfortable. Couldn’t have a coffee as they didn’t have lacrosse free milk. Food came out promptly. Got sat inside, it looked lovely out in the glass in area. Staff were friendly. Husband said his eggs were bland and just kept adding salt to help.
The food was very average. The Eden garden salad was plain, the Mediterranean breakfast lacked salt and seasoning in every aspect (worst tabouleh ever - couldn't even call that a tabouleh), the calamari salad was too sour, the tiramisu waffle was lacking balance. The only good thing was the lamb tacos and the drinks. The place where they seat most people doesn't have air con and on a 33 degree day, u really need it. They forgot our dessert also and although it isn't their fault but they gave me a dish plate and a teapot to help heat my baby's milk bottle which does not work unfortunately even though I asked for a mug. With the prices they charge, they really need to improve the flavour of their food and not concentrate just on looks.
The restaurant was so beautiful! The food was delicious and served it through creative ways! We have the chicken burger and iced taro drink, was perfection!! Would definitely dine here again :)
The places is in a spot that I had requested through The Fork which was amazing! Fantastic food and service!
9 of us came, the table was pre booked, however we end up waiting 35 mins to be seated. I feel you are in much better position if you have only couple of people. So booking big groups not a good idea! Other than that food and drinks were impressive!
All the food looks colorful and nice. Quality can be better for the price we pay. It gets really busy after 11am, saw a long queue out. Luckily we made a booking and got seated right away.
The ambiance and food was so colourful, Instagram worthy and absolutely beautiful. The visit was worth every penny we spent there. Looking forward to visiting the place with friends and family in future.
Great place and food
My daughter and I had lunch there and were very impressed with the food and the atmosphere of the place. We sat outside in the Courtyard because the music inside was very loud. I grew up in Coburg but have haven’t been back there for ages and I love what has been done with Pentridge. My late Uncle was a Warder there for many years.
Waited 1 hour for the food to come out after prompting staff that we have been waiting. Prior to this could not flag down a staff member to our table as we were ignored and not attended to.
Great vibe and the people who work there are so lovely! Presentation of the food was outstanding, my partner and I had the red velvet pancakes and pulled beef eggs Benedict. We could not fault the Benny but I do wish my pancakes were fluffy as the consistency was quite dense. We are coming back to try the burgers for lunch!
We sat in the courtyard, and even though it was rainy horrible day, the ambience made up for it. Food and drinks were delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommend the taro drinks
lovely staff, beautiful courtyard and food presentation however the pancakes were too sweet and dense, the salad was also very oily. despite this everything was nice.
