We really enjoyed our lunch visit to The Grand. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. We loved the heritage deco, not to mention the individual warm welcome on arrival. The menu was just right for our group of senior ladies. We thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The crumbed lamb chops are to die for. Yummo. We would recommend this restaurant and will certainly return ourselves. Well done The Grand Team ????????????

Great ambience, very welcoming and friendly staff, the food presented well and very tasty. Will certainly revisit many times. It was a quiet restaurant evening with only 3 tables in use.

The restaurant is a great central Ballarat location, in a magnificent Ballarat Building ,Meals were delivered in a timely fashion and we were very happy with quality and portion size. A great place to lunch with some old friends.

Excellent value great friendly service. Delicious food. A definite winner, we'll be back. Good choice of regional wines and beer, the amazing old building is worth a visit, the restaurant a bonus.

Enjoyed a wonderful ladies lunch yesterday. Our waitress Andrea was so accommodating and the food delicious. Can only recommend you try this restaurant, it will not disappoint. Looking forward to my next visit.

What a delight to book for a dinner birthday celebration for two and have the whole dining room to ourselves! Personal service and the addition of a candle in the dessert and a free drink for the Birthday Boy were added touches that made this evening special. It is a beautiful venue and of course we would be happy to share the dining room. The food was delicious with good sized portions so that you could enjoy dessert.

Girls lunch catch-up in Ballarat. Thought we’d give The Grand a go and we’ll we had a lovely delicious lunch and we all ordered the Seniors Special - great value for money and the Lamb Cutlets & Veges that 2 of us had were ‘to die for’ ????. The other girls’ meals were also delicious. The sweets were great as well. Good, old fashioned Country hospitality and service in a lovely quiet setting. It was a real pleasure and we will definitely be back. Well done everyone. Top spot. ????

The restaurant was really lovely. The staff were very friendly. Atmosphere was beautiful. Has been renovated to a high standard. Food was delicious. The piano was an incredible addition to the bar area. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We loved the ambience and the warm fire going when we arrived on a rather chilly night. We all really enjoyed our food, even my grand daughter 3 years old. The staff were very attentive. We will definitely come again.

What a lovely venue this place is. From the moment you enter you are welcomed by friendly staff. Great service, food and ambience, what more can you want in a venue. Would I come back, absolutely. Highly recommend for a night out with family, friends or just your loved one. Unfortunately I dont live in Ballarat otherwise this would be my go to place, If you haven't already, give it a go as I would be surprised if you were . disappointed. Next time I am in Ballarat I will be eating here. Thanks for making us feel welcome. Our party of 10 all enjoyed their meal. See you next time.
