Had a lovely evening out with friends. Had the duck and pork belly, both of which were truly delicious. Another enjoyable evening at The Grand!

I have been to the Grand many times , last night must have been an off night as service was well below usual standard , waiting staff seemed rushed and were neglectful. Food was good but not up to usual standard the duck particularly was disappointing In all not one of he better nights at the Grand

We had a light dinner of two courses this time. The tiger prawn for starter was really fresh and tasty. The mushroom risotto was great too. For wine, we chose the wild duck creek red which was magnificent. Service was very good too. I am really pleased that the Grand keeps its very high standard.

The room has a cozy ambience, tables are well spaced and the background noise level is low. The food was excellent and service was friendly, respectful and prompt.
