The ambience was excellent. It had an authentic Indian feel to the restaurant. The food was superb. Enjoyed a fab Father’s Day lunch.

Bland food, pushy waiter, bland decor, no where near authentic. Navrathan korma was the worse I have ever had very disappointing especially at this price.

Just Fabulous Service and really scrumptious food from a sensational Menue.

Highly recommend chicken tikka and butter chicken. Staff are very friendly.

I asked for my course to be extra spicy, and it wasn’t at all. A friend of mine asked for her course to be mild, but the waiter told us he made every course “a bit spicy” even though that’s not what we asked for. This has happened to me before at The Grand Pavillion, I ask for my meal to be extra spicy and every time the waiters tell me they will make it “European spicy”, which isn’t spicy at all.

The food was terrific. I can’t say the same thing for the service. Perhaps they were short handed.

Food good Service straight from Fawlty Towers - water offered on arrival but didn’t arrive/wine list out of date - not available/wine missed off bill but no thank you when we pointed it out!

Service bad. Worst service ever. The only recommendation I can give is don’t go there.

Food was wonderful, really tasty & very well presented, though a little slow to order & arrive. Just found the restaurant cold, several diners in coats and quite a draft when entrance door opened - we visited in August/Winter. An air curtain door or brightly coloured velvet drape to downstairs entrance would seriously help this problem. The Indian decorative touches are lovely but the floor is bland & doesn’t help warm it up or help with ambience when not full

Good food and great service. Bit expensive but worth it.
