The food was absolutely delicious. Decor was impressive.
We were having a drink in our hotel lobby and spotted The Grand Pavilion right across the street from us. As we didn’t feel like venturing far that evening we decided to give them a go and are glad we did! Friendly service and really tasty food. We didn’t have huge meals but what we had tasted fresh and delicious. Would definitely book again. We even got a 50% reduction as we booked through Fork - a bonus - but we would have been perfectly content paying full price.
Great dining experience at The Grand Pavilion. We celebrated my birthday here, and we were lucky it wasn't too busy :) Food was quick to arrive, and amazingly good. Service was great too. We will definitely be back! Thanks
The quality of food was worth the price and it was delicious. I loved the positive vibe at the restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and superb service.
Delicious indian food
Food was very good and not too hot. Service was good until the restaurant got busy and then we had trouble getting the attention of the waiters. Serves we’re reasonable size.
What a beautiful place! Loved the interior design. The Kerala style fish wrapped in banana leaf was a standout. The mains were a little underwhelming in terms of flavour, we were expecting more of a punch of chilli and spices!
Second time there. Food and service EXcellent...thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended
Excellent food and a great restaurant. I would say that tue service was "good" but not great. There was quite a delay with our entrees but no big deal. Highly recommended!
Food was quite nice, but expensive for what you get if you pay full price. You can probably get food of very similar quality for much cheaper, although granted the ambience would not be as fancy! The setup is reasonably cool but we went at lunch so it was quite empty, which detracted from the atmosphere a little. Service was not bad, but not good. Could be worth a visit if you get the 50% discount from The Fork. I'm unlikely to return if only because Sydney has a wealth of excellent restaurants to explore and Grand Pavillion's offering isn't really compelling enough to keep me coming back for more.
Everything from the moment we arrived to t he service food and quality was excellent xx yes the tikka masala was spicy compared to back home But all the food was top notch !! Would defo recommend and return here in a heartbeat xx very very good and lovely staff and the manager couldn’t do enough probably one of the best meals we have had at an affordable Price too xx
Decorations are incredible and staff are friendly. Food was very good. We went with a -50% deal which made it great value but it otherwise might have been a little dear.
Pretty good Indian in Sydney CBD
Go out very often for Indian in Sydney to various restaurants. The food here was Fantastic was a bit Hot???? as i asked for med hot on all 4 dishes. Quality of food was excellent. Flavours were all different on all meals which was great. Going back 2 weeks later with another friend Cant wait.
The worst service we have experienced for a long time. Nothing worked:welcoming, table, bringing menus, food ordering, payment. It just seemed that no one cared, so do not waste your time and go there.
Our Christmas Eve dinner at Grand Pavilion was the best Indian dinner we’ve ever had. The complexity of flavors in each of the dishes astounded us. The service and decor also impressed, but the food was truly memorable.
Very good food, good variety and different from most Indian restaurants, highly recommend. Attentive staff nice decor slightly difficult to get to with Uber
This is our second time dining here. 2/3 dishes were well-prepared. The 3rd dish, vegetarian with eggplant and potato was lacking in substantive ingredients. There were 2 slices each vegetable, not supportive of a hefty $ price. Service was friendly and helpful.
While a beautiful venue, service was indifferent and portions were not only small in size but also spare in content. Our palak (cottage cheese) dish had no more than 4 small cubes in a little bowl of sauce - for nearly $20.
Nice ambience, food is tasty but a bit expensive.
