The Greens was great. Unfortunately weather was poor which meant that all the people who had been seated outside came in and stood around making the whole place extremely noisy which was quite unpleasant, but otherwise it was great.

Your food is such poor quality it’s embarrassing. There’s no excuse for fck Ing up a basic burger. Literally terrible. Your waiters are miserable and unhelpful ...

Service was not very attentive. Orders went missing and dirty dishes were piled high

Overall it was what I expected. Good food, ok service..given how quiet it was (due to bad weather) I would have thought the staff could be more attentive rather than stand around and chat to each other. I will be back

Lovely outdoor and indoor area. Gets noisy inside when it’s busy. Popular for groups. Food is a little pricey but it’s good sized servings and the quality of food is really good.

This is a pleasant and casual bistro with a very relaxed atmosphere in a spacious and open area. The food quality, attention to detailed textures / flavours and plating were surprisingly upmarket given the laid back space.

excellent all round however I find sitting in an alcove less thanj comfortable ( particularly if the person next to you needs to get in and out reqularly.

The meals were delicious especially the prawns and the snapper. The staff were very friendly and the parking was easy. Great for a weekday lunch.

We had a warm welcome and the dishes we selected were tasty and a generous portion size. We thought the wine was a little pricey but did enjoy it nevertheless We will certainly visit again.

The location is great. Fantastic for families and kids. But the down side is it can be a bit loud w a few noisy kids running around. Food is good. The lamb shoulder share plate is massive, enough to share between 4 adults. The Aust providores plate is beautifully presented and fresh local produce. Overall great experience.

$19 for a small slice of mushroom. I thought I would come with chips or a bun, but it only came with a bit of pomegranite and some horrible salad/spiky green leaves. The portion was too small, and I had to have a second dinner afterwards at another restaurant. The atmosphere was great though, and friendly staff welcomed us.

Incredible. We shared the lamb shoulder. It was huge. Deliciously moist.... we had leftover to take home too! Now I need to make up another 5 characters... there we go.

Food was excellent but everytime we go and order food with the 50% discount card, they keep wanting to take it back even when we told them we might need to order more food later. Made it a bit awkward for us.

A great space for groups. The flavour combos of some of the dishes are a little hit and miss. I loved my ceviche but then the flavours of the rocket salad was a bid iffy. Wouldn't stop me from coming back. Its got a great atmosphere and overall good.

We dined here using the 50% offer promotion. This was great value. Order your food at the bar and waiters bought your food to your table. Great for families. Lots of tables inside for large groups. More tables outside if it too noisy inside. Best harbour views from the bar tables outside. Would come back again and enjoy a cocktail or few, on a warm summers night.

About the restaurant

Being the second oldest bowls club in NSW, North Sydney Bowls Club underwent renovations in 2014 and has rejuvenated something old, and brought it back to life. The Bowlo has been reborn as a beautiful, breezy garden with jaw dropping views! There’s palm trees, light open spaces and vintage photographs adorning the walls. The once grim club is now an urban oasis. On a sunny day, the rustic garden is the perfect place to sit and relax. Not your standard bowls club, the menu focuses on a variety of dining experience including substantial salads, daily market fresh fish and share plates. The Greens is an up and coming destination for a casual meal with the family and friends, special functions or corporate events. Pop down for the food, the view, the drinks, a game of bowls - or all of the above.
