6.5/10Pizza was ok, garlic bread didn’t have garlic, other dishes were average. Portions were generous. Restaurant is inside a walk through area with high ceiling & close to outdoor with lots of trees. Very noisy from hundreds & thousands of birds from the trees nearby in the early evening.

10/10Great ttle restaurant. Very tasty food we had lasagne and spaghetti amatriciana. We also had garlic bread. All the food was exceptional. The staff we very friendly and helpful. Great local gem. We will be back

8/10It was a bit of a battle to change my booking from 28/10 to 26/19 without having to lose my loyalty points which involved The Fork. In the end it was all good. We had a good meal with good service. Enjoyed very much the Neonata Fritters, Fettucine Ragu, Spaghetti Aglio E Olio W Prawns, Spaghetti Amatrichana and Pizza Contadina.

5.5/10We were 10 minutes late for an 8pm booking (pointed it was 7.30 but I modified to 8) Was told they only serve till 8.30 in an not too unfriendly manner. Food was average.

Growing up in southern Italy, “The Grumpy Italian” was born into a family of all boys. He was always mischievous and grumpy, his mother didn’t know what to do with him! So, to keep him out of trouble she taught him what she knew best…. how to cook!
From there a talent was discovered and passion was born. Today, The Grumpy Italian restaurant serves traditional Italian cuisine using recipes passed down from generations. The menu entails simple Italian dishes with big flavour and fresh produce. All of our venues have their own unique environment with dine in and takeaway options available. We pride ourselves on delivering good food and good service, ensuring everyone leaves happy and full. We look forward to seeing you soon.
