Our first visit and we have slightly mixed feedback. Pros: Really nice decor in a spacious, airy setting. Food was served quickly, reasonably priced, tasty, good size servings. Cons: Staff lacked enthusiasm - no greeting or engagement. Where it really loses marks for me is the dirtiness of stairs leading up to restaurant, front door that needs a good disinfectant wipe over (so much grubbiness is not a good first impression!) and toilets that need a good mop.
Food and atmosphere was good. The food was quite mild (good for me, my partner would have liked it spicier). Also liked the more open setting (aka not cramped in between other tables).
Our party of 6 enjoyed the Banquet which included a pleasing variety of entrees and main dishes in sufficient quantities for us to sample them all. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Delicious vegetarian meals: tasty and healthy and king prawns for the rest of us were delicious. Service was good for being a very busy night with a full restaurant
Great service and authentic food, will come back again.
Enjoyed the excellent food. A great place to go with family or work colleagues. Casual informal wear was appropriate. The variety and quality of the food was an attraction in itself. I will definitely go again!
Great choice of food with lots of gluten free options.
Always nice food.
Food was great, place was busy so service a bit slow but food worth waiting for. Was a mixup with meals but manager happily offered to get correct meal at no extra cost.
An excellent place to eat. Food was good and wine was really nice . A little slow for the food to be served but all in all a great place to eat.
Our meal was lovely, although it was a little slow in coming but that was ok because we were in a group of six and so found plenty to talk about while waiting. We found the food was very reasonably priced as was the wine. Always a good meal here.
The food was wonderful the place was great BUT the staff there need more training we observed one staff member placing cutlery on to tables with a bunch of knife and forks in one hand and grabbing them from the end that people put into their mouth we don’t know if she had washed her hands either. So maybe having the cutlery in a container and grabbing them from the ends would make it more hygienic for the patrons.
Interesting and tasty food.
The only complaint that the table lighting was inadequate. My partner had to leave the table to go someplace else in the restaurant to read the menu. I barely managed to. Could better lighting be provided so we don’t have to squint at the menu and we would have liked to actually seen what we were eating a lot better as well. Otherwise, the food, etc., was excellent
Love the ambience inside and flags and balcony outside - up above the busy world! Tasty well-presented food Nice wines, beer Relaxing
I love this place - the food, the friendly staff, the ambience. Just all great!
The Hungry Buddha is an excellent dining experience
Great food and service, just a bit cold in the restaurant
Great menu. Really enjoyed the banquet - plenty of food and variety.
Really love this place
