Perfect local gem
I always enjoy my visit to The Hunter but as usually happens that my booking is mixed up and we have to be seated up the back where the lighting and atmosphere isn't the same even though the tables near the windows are not all reserved. Probably best not to reserve a table in future and might get a better table.
Always a really lovely place to go
Good gluten free options Nice food Service not great. Chased 5 times for water and needed to get attention each time. Poor service really let them down
We went there for our daughter’s birthday. The service was excellent, so we could really enjoyed the night.
Another lovely evening in our local gem.
A favourite of mine
Needs to work on their atmosphere, music and correct details on the menu as several items were wrong/incorrectly marked gluten free when they weren’t and did not offer gluten free on said items. Yummy food! Yummy cocktails! Very small but cute!
As always, just the best!!
Good local spot.
The Hunter board is worth trying paired with a good wine. Nice chill out place
We had a group of 7 and had a wonderful time and great service. Its always a good choice
Badly needed neighbourhood gem. Food was lovely and seasonal.
Lovely lunch time venue, interesting menu and awesome atmosphere.
Great wine bar! Nice and relaxed setting
Another wonderful evening at the Hunter. Fantastic service as always - delicious Rob Dolan wine. Excellent.
Loved that there were lots of really good and creative vegetarian food options. Cocktail was pretty great too. The beetroot was definitely my favourite.
Had a very enjoyable night - good food, wines/beer and great atmosphere. Friendly staff and good service. Will definitely be back.
Such a great neighbourhood location. Great selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Food is substantial tapas style and always yummy. Great place!
Great selection of wine and good variety of food options
5 MYAHGAH ROAD, 2088, Mosman, Australia
South Africa comes to Mosman
This could easily become your favourite local, just you wait and see. Expanding out onto the fountain square shared by Fourth Village in Mosman Hunter Wine Bar has an intimate community feel to it. The interior was inspired by a trip to South Africa however the bar itself is not a South African bar. Make sense? Think vines hanging from a canvas roof, stone, wood and swinging safari lanterns. The menu consists of exciting, innovative morsels such emu sliders and wild boar little dogs. For those squirming at the thought of emu, fear not, there’s also a few safer options like baked pumpkin, torn polenta wedges and slow roast pork hock. So whether you’re an adventurous eater or not, The Hunter Wine Bar is sure to have a dish and drink that you'll love.
Best dish: slow roast pork hock, sticky braised cabbage and potato mash or torn polenta wedges with tomato chilli jam
