Schnitzels are way too big and please do not serve it on top of the chips. Suggest a half serve be offered for smaller eaters - way too big to eat it all thus a waste of food and patron's money.

We thought the food was expensive and therefore ordered hamburgers (not cheap either) and they were very ordinary. The waiter was excellent. We thought the room rather dark but like the banquettes.

It is wonderful to be able to return to a hotel and the food and service is still such a high standard. The range of food choices is excellent and the standard of presentation and cooking is second to none. I love the fact there is table service, no lining up for food orders or drinks. Another bonus is it us not overpriced.

The staff are very friendly and the mains are always very good. We go to The Kensi often. My one criticism is that the desserts are overpriced and the coffee leaves a lot to be desired. Next time I will enjoy the starters and the main which are always lovely and go elsewhere for coffee and dessert

Had dinner with a friend at The Kensi before seeing ‘Tina’ at The Regent Theatre. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Delicious food ….. good selection of wines ….. didn’t have to wait long for our meal. Great selection of food & wine on the menu ….. prices were a bit high, but definitely a good experience. Well worth a visit.

The food was ok, not great. Our waiter who took our orders was very very rude and dismissive right from the get go which was disappointing. The waitress who brought out our food however was lovely. I feel like the restaurant needs a facelift as it’s quite outdated and had a bit of a musty smell.

The ambience was different to the usual as several groups had children who were quite vocal. Our meals were great for entrees. My hubby had fish for mains which was great but I chose a new pasta dish and was sadly unimpressed. I've never had a bland dish at the Kensington before but tonight I did. We'll go again though as it's local, accessible and usually 10/10.
