Great location, great set up, nice food. But the menu could be more extensive. Not a lot of variety on the menu. Would be beautiful on a warm day to sit outside near the lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed the venue, outlook and ambience...despite the bucketing rain outside. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was impressive in quality and presentation.

We were fortunate to spend a weekend away in Denmark and friends had recommended the Lake House. We shared the Madison platter which was excellent (just the right amount of food for 2 people to share). Unfortunately the day we visited was raining as it would be picture perfect on a sunny day to sit out and take in the lovely gardens/lake view. The only point I would make was we did have to approach the staff on two occasions for service (it was a busy Sunday with a couple of larger groups which seemed to take priority). That said once we had their attention the staff were very pleasant.

Staff were very pleasant and rushed off their feet food and service very good , only one problem the Flys were trapped in side with us , if the blinds had been opened( even a bit) would have let them out.The wine was excellent highly recommended place

A bit disappointing especially after such a beautiful brilliant winery Singlefile...cannot compare in any way... Some staff lovely from Pepper & Salt but others disrespectful Food..: not sure what it was Some wines & food ok...

It’s in a beautiful setting, the food is amazing and wine and chutneys etc are fantastic, prices are very reasonable. The staff are very helpful. Well worth a visit

I love The Lakehouse - food's always good e.g. preserves and cheeses, leg ham and freshly baked bread. The food arrived promptly and the wine was the perfect accompaniment to the meal.

Really friendly, helpful service and fantastic wine! We tried the Merlot with a massive sharing platter- plenty for 4 people with extra bread. Lovely chocolate puddings too! Whole family loved the experience including the ducklings and lizards !

The settings as expected was tranquil but that’s about it. We were expecting fine dining but sting on a patio paying about $150 for a cold platter for 3 didn’t really represent value or satisfaction for me. Food was really just mildly above the cold plate at some wineries- definitely go for the view, maybe a cup of coffee and NOT for the food

The Lake House setting is beautiful however the food is pre made produce served as platters which are enjoyable enough but very overpriced and service is very very slow and unwelcoming. We had to seek out service after waiting for Hal an hour. Soup and platter took 2 hours and we had to seek out someone to pay... not sure why we did that!!

Our second time at this place this time with family for lunch. Warm and cozy setting with roaring fire was wonderful as a wet and cold day outside. Staff and food excellent. Will definitely be returning.

Always nice to have a meal at Lake House! A very friendly young lady welcomed us at door and took us to our table. We had a booking for 12.30pm. Waitress was lovely too! Had a lovely day out there.

Only fifteen minutes drive from Denmark town. Beautiful location, friendly service, excellent food and notable wines (superb Pinot Noir). Nothing really that I can add!

It is a beautiful location next to a lake which I found when paging through a travel brochure. The beef pie was extremely tasty and very filling. The wines are good too. It is perfect for a romantic lunch.

Seating wasn't to our expectation overlooking the lake. Famous beef n Shiraz pie unavailable due to meat order mixup. Husband quite irritated by now! Food platters quite pricey however enjoyable.
