When we arrived, they did not have record of our booking for a table of 10. Service was terrible, forgot to order one of the persons meals. Left waiting for their meal whilst everyone else had their food. Waitress told one of the customers at the table to “relax!”. Ordered drinks to which was later advised after people at the table had their drinks that this was not available. Will not be revisiting

About The Last Piece-Waverley

The missing Piece Mulgrave’s one-shop coffee stop, The Last Piece, recently underwent some renovations and has now emerged looking better than ever. A favourite amongst locals, the lively café has expanded from pouring a good quality brew to include a fully-fledged pizza kitchen where you’ll be able to get gourmet Italian day and night. The famous coffee is still the same, but you can now also order wine, beer or cider to wash down your dinner specials such as pasta, burgers and pizzas. The all-day breakfast is equally popular where you’ll find creative classics such as ‘Avatar’ pancakes (yes, they’re blue!), a breakfast take on bruschetta, and chilli scrambled eggs. The décor is minimalistic wood, with a feature wall detailing the history of Waverley Park in a series of iconic photos. The vibe is cool and relaxed, and you’ll never feel rushed or pushed for time. It’s a piece of coffee heaven! Best dish: Shane Crawford pizza
